Runa squinted at the man who was sitting in front of her, and then she blinked. The foggy haze that would accompany her when she woke up was washed away, replaced with scepticism and annoyance.

Runa asked Shanks bluntly, "Why are you here again?"

"Aren't you happy to see me, Runa?" Shanks grinned.

Runa stared at him then shifted her gaze to look at Luffy who was practically trembling in excitement, eyes filled with hero-worship, and causing multiple stabs to Runa's heart. Her resolve hardened and she glared at Shanks, spitting out her next words, "No."

Shanks made an offended look before turning to look at Luffy, "Hear that, Anchor? Your sister isn't happy to see me."

Luffy deflated, sending that look towards Runa. Runa cringed before scowling at Shanks, "I hope you know that one day Karma will bite you in the ass."

"Harsh words, young lady."

Runa bristled before moving away, walking towards one of the quieter members of the crew. Benn Beckman was sitting in the corner of the bar, chatting with another member of the crew, Sina. Both of them spoke in low tones, staring at the rest of the bar while chatting.

Runa dragged a chair over and sat down, casually remarking, "Pardon my intrusion."

"Oh? Did Shanks annoy you that much, Little Lady?" Sina asked, his lips turning from a smile to a grin.

Benn snorted, "Doesn't he always when she comes to find us?"

"Why does Luffy like him so much?" Runa asked, staring sullenly at the table. "I'm smarter than Shanks, I'm obviously prettier too. But Luffy just seems to... he seems like he would bend heavens and raise hell for Shanks."

Benn laughed, "I wouldn't say that. Luffy obviously likes you more."

"Obviously," Runa sulked, "I'm his twin. But he seems to like spending more time with Shanks. Is it because Shanks is a guy and I'm not?"

Sina patted her head, "I doubt that's true, Little Lady. Luffy is just experiencing pirate romance, right now."

"...He'll probably never grow out of that Pirate Romance."
