DON'T WORRY. THIS ONE WON'T CAUSE THE NEED FOR INTENSIVE THERAPY. BUT, FAIR WARNING, IT WILL GET A LITTLE CHEESY.

ENJOY :)

~He saves you from an orc.~

You swung your sword at the practice dummy, cutting off its head as if it were made of no more than butter.

You sighed, watching as the elven servant drags out a new one for you to hack at.

It gets quite monotonous doing the same thing everyday, and you wanted something different to do.

You glanced up at Rivendell, knowing that your father, Aragorn [a/n: PLOT TWIST! lol, JK.] doesn't want you anywhere near the council meeting.

"Daron," you called to the servant.

"Yes, Milady?" He asked.

"I'm going for a walk around Rivendell, in case my father is looking for me," you told him, strapping your sword to your hip, and adjusting the buckles on your boots.

Daron nodded.

You wondered aimlessly around the valley, watching the wildlife, and pointlessly swinging your sword.

A branch snapped behind you, and you whirled around, brandishing your sword.

There wasn't anyone behind you, but you were still wary. "Who's there?" You hissed, threateningly waving your sword around.

Leaves rustled behind you, and you whirled around, coming face-to-face with a big, ugly, smelly orc.

His face broke into a malicious grin, bearing his black, rotting teeth. You smell his breath, which reeked of year-old fish, rotting flesh, and one of Gimli's burps after he'd eaten garlic bread and smoked a pipe.

A scream tore its way out of your throat, and - much to your misfortune and embarrassment - you fainted from shock.

A scream echoed through Rivendell, and Boromir leapt to action. Fear coursed through him, driving him to run faster.

He drew his sword and ran, knowing it was you.

"You beast!" He roared, seeing the orc standing over your unconscious body.

He fought the orc viciously, and beheaded it before kneeling down next to you. "[Y/N]! Please Wake up!"

He took you into his arms and brushed your hair from your face. "[Y/N]! Wake up!"

Your eyes fluttered open, and you looked up, confused, at Boromir. "You saved me?"

He nodded, smiling. "I'm so glad you're alright," he whispered.

You reached up and hugged him tightly around the neck. "My hero," you mumbled, making him smile.

You pulled back slightly, and kissed him.
