I gave a swift nod. It's been so long since I have visited my office here. In Sequra, the office was situated in the middle of a dessert! My wolf was quite agitated to get back here. Let's start the day.....

While sitting in the car looking outside the window I could feel the flow of air, the humidity outside, the dampness of soil, the fresh drops of rain on the leaves enhancing their beauty, the birds chirping, each and every breath of animals living in forest but there's something different today.....

They all bowed together getting on their one knee and placed their hand on their heart.

How on the earth did a human enter this forest? It's impossible!

A. its highly guarded
B. its protected by magic. No human can enter this part of forest.

"Alpha, shall we head to the company?"

"No, you can leave for the company, I would like to stay for few more minutes here."

"yes, Alpha"

My wolf has been anxious since morning, maybe a run would calm him down.

Running after rain is something else. The humidity is still in the air. The air is slapping my face as I am running in my wolf form. The leaves crushing under my paw, my heart thumping at the speed of light. The rise in my chest to fill air in my burning lungs, the tightening of my leg muscles, the rush of adrenaline, the thumping of my paw........ There is nothing like that.

Is it the human?

Or an infiltrator?

Where is he ?

Why can't I smell him!

I did smell him the last time while I was in the car!

There she was standing looking shocked. My mate is beautiful. Her thick black fur shining under sunlight. Her eyes.... So big, carrying such curiosity. Her wolf was small compared to mine. Extremely small.

Thanks to the moon goddess who has blessed me with such a pure and beautiful mate.

Just when I had given up.

Just when I was convinced I didn't have one.

Just when I was ready to lead a life full of loneliness.

Just when I stopped believing in hope.

There she is.

My hope.

It's a miracle.

I hope when I touch her she doesn't Dissappear.

I hope it's not a dream.

I can see her, touch her but.....

I can't smell her.

She is staring me.

God! I hope I am looking presentable.

She casted her eyes downwards.

I circled around her, my eyes with curiosity, registering every inch of her body, trying to solve the mystery behind her eyes.

But what I saw next really confused me!

Why is she stretching?

Is her leg painting????

Oh my God!! Where??? How?? Why?

I will kill the one who did this to her. She is MY MATE!! MY LUNA! THE LUNA QUEEN. Who dared to hurt her???

And then she she again did something that really confused me more!

She plopped herself on the ground.

What?

What is she trying to do?

Is she tired?

I went near her and bowed first.

She is after all a queen.

And needs to be treated as one.

And I am meeting my queen for the first time.

She opened her eyes. So beautiful!!

Just then I heard the howling of my warriors.

They must have found something.

I need to shift. We need to shift before they arrive.

I don't want anyone to see my mate naked.
