An Interview

<<IZUKU POV>>
I slid on a hoodie and some black sweatpants. I grabbed my wallet and phone and stuffed it into my pockets as I left my room. I walked to the elevator and pressed the 30 button and was brought up a floor. The doors opened and I walked down the hallway to the spot. I still had a minute left so I chilled and scrolled through my phone. A bunch of news articles had already been published about me and videos of my fight were on youtube and in the articles. I sighed and placed my phone back into my pocket, as I did so Inky walked up to me. "You ready to go?" I nodded and the wings formed on my back and we both flew out the window and I followed Inky to the grocery store. We landed on the ground and we both walked in, our wings disappearing as we did so. I grabbed a cart and inky did so as well, using her ink to push the cart as she looked around. I went straight to the ramen noodles and grabbed 3 giant 5 packs of them. Then I went to the Mac n' cheese section and did the same. I picked up some rice, eggs, and pineapple mango juice as well and went to check out. A large sign
at the checkout said, hero discount, present your hero Id and get 50 percent off your total. I smirked and pushed my cart forward in the line and started unloading things onto the conveyer belt. I pulled out my wallet and hero I.D and showed it to the woman behind the desk. "Wait! You're the new hero everyone's been talking about. You're Deku!" I smirked and watched my total go from $50.27 to $25.14 as the woman did my discount. "I saw the fight, you were amazing Deku" I laughed a little bit. "I'm not that good" the lady stared at me in pure confusion. "Deku, sweetie, you are amazing." I blushed slightly and looked off to the side. "You are the definition of Awesome". "Thank you" I smiled and grabbed my groceries and placed them in the cart. "Any time, come again" I pushed the cart to the cart area and grabbed my groceries out of the cart and put the cart away. I walked over to a near by bench and waited for Inky to finish up, it only took her about 5 minutes. Her ink hand was carrying the groceries as she walked out to where I was sitting. "You ready to go?" I nodded and stood up. The wings formed and we flew back to the agency to chill. We landed and the wings disappeared and I walked to the elevator, groceries in one hand as I pressed the 29 button. I walked back to my room and put away my groceries in the fridge and pantry. I slumped onto the couch and got a phone call. I answered without looking at the number. "Hello" I said. "Hey nerd, I saw you on the news." I chuckled lightly. "Oh yeah?" "Yeah, you were pretty cool. Any way, how's work and America?" "Oh, it's fine. It would be better with you. Anyway, have you found an agency yet?" "Of course I have, and it's right here in the city." "Really?! That's great Kacchan." "It would be better with you" I sighed. "I know, but it isn't permanent, and these 2 years will fly by so fast." He laughed on the other end. "As if, maybe for you but even today seemed to drag on for ages, surrounded by a bunch of extras. 2 years is gonna be hell." "I know Kacchan, but I know that you of all people will get through it. I can't wait to see you on the news soon." We both chuckled lightly and sighed. "Be careful, I don't want to see another scar on you." "As if I'm trying to collect these. Yes Kacchan, I'm a scar collector, I travel the world looking for scars to collect and add to my wonderful collection." He laughed. "Yeah yeah, whatever you say nerd. Just please be careful." "Ok Kacchan, I will. You too ok." I said jokingly. "You should probably sleep, I know it's late over there." "Yeah, you're deku. I just couldn't sleep." I laughed. "Aw DiD kInG eXpLoSiOn MuRdEr HaVe A bAd DrEaM?" I said in a baby voice and I heard explosions on the other side. "Tch, No." I laughed again. "Whatever you say Kacchan. Whatever you say." "Ugh, whatever stupid nerd." "How am I stupid if I'm a nerd? Be consistent Kacchan." I laughed again as I heard growling on the other side. "Good bye Kacchan, get some sleep." "Bye, you damn adorable ass nerd." I blushed and sighed as Kacchan hung up. I checked the time, 2:38 pm. I sighed and stood up as my stomach let out a low growl, trying to let me know that it's hungry. I pulled out a pot and filled it with water and placed it on the stove. It's times like these I wish I had a fire quirk or some heating quirk, then this would be a lot faster and easier. The water came to a boil and I pulled out and opened a package of ramen and dropped it into the water. I pulled out a spoon and stirred it around carefully, acting as if it had an effect to stir it while it was both still hard and in a square shape. After a few minutes, it was done and I put in the flavor packet. I put it in a bowl and grabbed a fork, and sat down to eat.
<<ONE YEAR LATER>>
"Deku, a villain has been spotted going into the sewers. Stop him, but be careful because that villain has sharp claws." I turned off the news and ran to change into my costume. I had been practicing flying with my quirk, but sending out blasts from my fingers I can make myself fly. I ran out of my room and to the stairs. I climbed up and ran out of the door and activated all my quirks at 75 percent. I jumped out of the hole in the window and send out a controlled blast to send me upward. Even though I have only been an official pro for 1 year, I was the current number 3 hero with 'Ground Zero' in 4th and 'shoto' in 5th. I stuck my hand up towards the sky and flicked my fingers, sending me straight down to the ground with a thud. I looked around and saw a small bridge with a sewer drain, I ran over to it. As I neared the drain, it bursted open and a giant villain with sharp as claws crawled out with a giant bag of money on his back. He looked around and spotted me through the dust. "Damn it, of course you would be here to stop me!" He lunged at me and slashed my arm as I blocked the attack. It stung and felt deep, but the pain and feeling slowly went away as it healed, leaving the villain in shock. "So you've heard of me, but you act as if I'm not known worldwide for my quirks healing." I jumped up and dodge another attack from the guy, when you could see him and was ready for an attack, he was actually quite slow. I did a flip in the air and snatched the bag of money off his shoulder, making him look at me in surprise at my speed. I tossed it aside as I landed back on the ground. "DAMN IT DEKU!" The guy clawed at my back, ripping through my shirt and leaving a big ass claw mark on my back, if I didn't heal it quickly, it would definitely scar. I bost up to 100 percent and felt the slow process of the wound closing as I jumped over his arm again. I kicked him in the face making him fly into the ground and break off parts of it. "ARGH, I'LL KILL YOU YOU LITTLE BITCH!" I felt him claw at my leg, ripping the suit again and leaving yet another giant gash, not as bad as my back though. I healed that one quickly and punched him in the stomach, he groaned out as he was pushed into the side of the bridge. He laughed as gripped the support beam, making it crumble and break. I knew what he was doing, he was trying to break the bridge so I that I would have to save the people instead of attacking him. The villain dashed to the opposite side and broke that support beam as well, causing the bridge to now tilt and all most dump cars off the edge. I jumped up and caught the bridge and heard more laghing. "Now what are you gonna do hero, are you gonna capture me and let those people die, or are you gonna save those people and let me escape." He laughed. "Neither!" I shouted as I lifted the bridge with one hand and flicked my fingers as the villain, sending out a large blast of air at him, knocking him out. I sighed and yelled at the cars. "GET OFF THE BRIDGE, DRIVE!" People who had been watching the fight got back in their cars and drove off the bridge and too the side of the road to continue watching. The weight of the bridge lifted, meaning all the cars were off and it was safe to drop the bridge now. I flew forward and released the bridge, it didn't fall all the way, but it would have definitely dropped cars off to the side, which could be deadly. The last of my wound on my back finished healing, 'damn it, that's totally a new scar' I sighed and looked at the villain. His claws were covered in blood, my blood. His face had blood from his head and his body was covered in dust and small scraps. I heard a helicopter from above fly over me, a giant light right on me and I saw a camera. I stared at the helicopter and didn't notice that the villain had woken up and jumped at me. "LOOK OUT DEKU!" I heard someone yell, as I turned, the villain slashed a giant slash onto my right eye. The pain made me dizzy, but I ignored it and punched the guy across the face, knocking him out cold. I felt blood rush from the wound and trickle off my face and I heard gasps as I looked around. I placed my hand over my eye and focused even more energy into healing it, the scratch closed up, leaving traces of blood seeming to come from no where. I wanted to make sure nothing back happened to my eye, so I shut my other eye. I could barely see anything, it was all fogy, cloudy and dark. I opened my other eye and looked around, my vision was a little wonky do to my eye, but other than that I could see perfectly. I heard police sirens get closer and stop on the other side of the bridge, a capture truck also followed. The officers ran down with the quirk canceling cuffs and cuffed the guy up. As usual I walked over to the villain and healed his injuries using my quirk. A news truck also followed the police cars and they hopped out, cameras in hand and ran over to me. "We are here live on the scene with the number 3 hero, Deku. A villain who had just robbed a bank and was running from the police entered the sewers and followed them to here, where the hero was waiting. From there, Deku took down the villain on her own. Herr she is, Deku can you explain what happened during that fight?" "Well, I had gotten an alert about a villain near by and flew to this location. I spotted the sewer drain and walked up to it, then this guy jumped out at me. He put up a rather good fight." I said while pointing to the obvious damage to my suit and the scar on my back. "Was he the one who gave you that scar just now?" The guy pointed to my eye and I sighed. "I'm gonna say yes." "Well deku, have you heard that they are going to be making hero merchandise for you. Along with the other memebers of the top five. I look forward to see what you are gonna have." "I read an article about that this morning." I smiled at the camera. "Well, I will be buying something of yours when it releases." I giggled and smiled. "Well thank you ma'am." The lady smirked. "Deku, if you don't mind, what is your opinion on the hero ground zero?" I smirked. "Well, I think he's pretty cool. Much cooler in person though." The lady gasped. " You know the hero Ground Zero?! Please, tell us about him." I laughed a little bit. "Ok, well for starters, we actually went to school together. He is really strong and I admire him for that." The lady gasped again. "Wow, but you're strong too, you're even actually stronger than him. Why do you look up to him if he's weaker than you" I frowned. "Just because he is physically weaker than me, and not by very much, does not mean I can't look up to him." "Y..yes!, of course you can. Sorry for my stupid remark." I laughed a little. "It's fine, you just don't know our whole relationship, that's all." The woman behind the camera smiled and ran off to go look at the villain be put in transportation. I sighed and flew off while using my quirk, what an awkward fucking conversation. I flew back into the agency and walked but to the stairs, deactivating my quirk as I did so. I knew as soon as Kacchan saw that fucking news, he was gonna call and yell at me for gaining two new scars. I sighed and walked back to my room, my work phone buzzed in my pocket. "Good work today hero!" I smiled and unlocked my room. I went straight to my closet and changed into my pj's. It was around 8:37 pm, so I knew that sleep would be here soon. I heard my ringtone go off and I rushed out to grab it. "Hello, Izuku Midoriya here" "since when did you answer the phone so formally. I saw your fight on the news, in fact I just watched you fly away." I laughed a little bit. "Sorry Kacchan" "Why the hell are you apologizing?" "Well, about the brand new additions to the scar collection. That dude had some killer fucking claws, not all my fault." I heard laughing on the other end as I walked into the bathroom to look at my eye. Sure enough, there was three scratch marks scratching through my right eye. "You ok over there, it got oddly quiet over there." I laughed. "Yeah, just looking at my eye. Anyway, you found out about the whole hero merch. What are you gonna have, I read that we choose what we put out this time?" "Probably a hoodie, maybe a keychain and a plushie. I don't really fucking care. What about you, what are you gonna do?" "I was thinking about all the same things you were thinking about. Great minds think alike huh?" I laughed. "Yeah, guess we do. You know, when you started talking about me on the news, it reminded of me of what I told someone on your first day. I also said that you were cooler in person. Any way, I appreciate you kinda sticking up for me I guess, even though you really are on a whole different level strength wise. Your stronger than when All might was a hero, the world just hasn't seen enough of you yet. Oh yeah, I had an interview request from someone in America, they wanted to learn more about me and stupid shit like that. Where are you located again, my interview is on floor 24 of the Inky and Nightmare agency, or some shit like that." "Wait really!? That's my agency. I also have an interview coming up, they said that there would be a special guest, it that you. When is yours, date and time, mine is next monday, the 28th at 1 pm." I said, trying not to explode from excitement. "SAME!" I squealed in delight. "YES!, Finally we can see each other, other than on the news." I was about to explode with joy, I was gonna get to see Kacchan next Monday, and it was already Wednesday, only 4 more days to go. "Well, I just got a whole lot happier for today. Anyway, I just got an alert for a villain near by, I got to go kick some ass. Bye, love you." "Love you too, don't kill anyone." Both laughed and hung up. I knew that if he was coming here, he was gonna have the limo and all the other things that I had when I got here, so I'll just tag a ride with the limo and surprise him. I walked back out of the bathroom and into the kitchen to get some cereal, the food I had when I was just barely hungry enough to eat, but not eat a full meal like ramen or mac n' cheese. I grabbed a bowl, got my cereal and went to the fridge for the milk. I grabbed the milk and pored it onto the cereal and walked over to get a spoon. I grabbed the bowl and went to go sit down at the table, a thought crossed my mind. 'What ever happened to the league, ever since all for one was captured, they stopped coming after us. Did they have a plan, were they going to strike when my guard was down or when I became number 1. What about all for one, has shigaraki visited him in disguise, if so does shigaraki have all for one now, I remember all for one said something about passing his quirk down to Shigaraki when he was ready.' I stared at my cereal and snapped out of thought. 'Better eat this before it gets soggy' I started eating and finished after about 4 minutes. I placed my bowl and spoon in the sink and went to my bed. I was tired so I was just gonna sleep, fighting villains on a daily basis can really tire you out, no wonder All might didn't take care of every little villain fight. I crawled under the covers and laid my head onto the pillow, using a spare to cuddle with almost, like a hug. I closed my eyes and fell asleep, this routine continued and before I knew it, I was in my hero costume walking to a limo to go pick up my boyfriend from the airport. I entered the limo and rested my head backwards, I was exhausted. I didn't get much sleep last night because I was watching the news and because of excitement. I pulled out a chocolate bar from the candy area, my favorite from the food areas in the limo and unwrapped it. I bit down into the sweet milk chocolate and let out a delighted sigh. The limo stopped at the airport and I smiled as I saw the shadow of a spikey haired man walking towards the exit. The man looked at the limo, checked his phone, and ran over. He had a small bag in his hands and when he got in, I leapt onto him and hugged him. "SURPRISE!" I yelled and Kacchan blushed slightly. I got off of him and pulled out a small package from my many pockets on my costume. I handed him the package and he looked at me confused. "Take it" He stared at it. "Why, what is it?" "Just take the damn package Kacchan" he took the package and smirked at me. He opened it and found a small picture of us when we were little. He smirked again "why?" I laughed. "I called your mom and she told me that today, 14 years ago, we met and took this picture. This picture was when you first met me on the playground and said that we could be friends." He smiled at me. "I bet you're wondering why I have a bag, well our anniversary is this Wednesday, so I was gonna stay until Friday at your place, then head back." I smiled and the limo came to a stop. We both got out, holding hands, and walked inside. We walked to the elevator and I pushed the floor 24 button. I looked at Kacchan and kissed his cheek, making him turn slightly red in response. The elevator stopped and we both walked out to to a door that said meeting room. We walked through the doors and found 3 people, one sitting at a table and the other 2 helping behind a camera." Aw, Deku and Ground Zero, nice to have you two here with us today, please sit." He pointed at two chairs, both side by side. We walked over and sat down, then the camera started rolling. "Today we are here with new heros Deku and Ground Zero. Both of you have only been pros for a year, yet deku is the number 3 hero in the world and Ground Zero is number 4. You two are both truly incredible, but we are here today to discuss your relationships and learn a little bit about you guys. You both seem to know each other, so we want to know about you guys." I smiled and looked at Kacchan. "Well as I've said before, we both were in the same class at U.A. Infact, we were childhood friends. We haven't always had a good relationship, but now, we are very happy together. Yes, we are dating and I have no shame about it, we are quite happy together." "Yeah, as she said. We have know each other for 14 years, and of that we have been dating for 3. I'll admit to it, there was a point in time where I did infact bully her, but we have forgiven our past mistakes and made up." "Nice to know, you two seem like a great couple. Deku, when did you meet Ground Zero?" "I met him when we were 4 years old at a playground. He had just moved to the neighborhood and I was alone at the playground. He had approached me and introduced himself and we became friends. Later on, it was thought that I didn't have a quirk, but it didn't stop my dreams of becoming a hero, but some people have trouble with facing emotions, causing some bullying to occur, but we are fine now, no scratch that, we're great. Turns out I was just a late bloomer and actually did have a quirk, several actually." "Very nice that you both are happy. When did you two realize your feelings for each other?" "In middle school. Or that was the case for me." "Same here." I smiled again. "How do you feel that Deku is currently working in America Ground Zero?" "I'm not the biggest fan of it, but we call everyday and I made a promise to support her, and I plan to keep that promise" "How sweet. You two are very cute together. Deku, when do you go back to Japan?" "Oh, I go back in about 3 months." I sighed slightly. "Of course I missed everyone in Japan, but I will also miss everyone here. But, you all will get to see more me, I promise that." I smiled and looked around a little. "So deku, how does your parents feel about you being a hero and..." The man pointed at my scars. "Oh, w..well my mom died around 3 years ago, a..and I never actually met my d..dad so." I looked off to the side and sighed. "How unfortunate that your mom passed while you were training." Both me and Kacchan looked at each other and froze. I looked at the camera trying to pretend everything was fine, until I noticed the camera was off. The red light that shows it would be on was off. "What about you Bakugou? How does your parents feel about this?" "Cut the act, how do you know about my mom and his name?!" I stood up from my chair. "W..what do y..you mean!? I...I'm just a reporter a..and I heard about your mom from T...T.V" Kacchan also stood up from his chair. "Cut the bullshit, who the fuck are you?!" The reporter laughed. "You two both really pay attention huh. Well too bad, I was really look forward to learn more about you guys." That's when I noticed the reporter's eyes were red, and there was blue hairs sticking out from underneath the brown hair on top. "It's Shigaraki!" I yelled as I jumped and grabbed the wig off his head, it came off revealing that it was shigaraki. He seemed different now, more evil. "You know Izuku, you're too clever for your own good." I felt his grab my wrist and I felt the stinging pain as my flesh slowly disintegrated. I activated all of my quirks and punched him off of me, sending him through the wall. "KACCHAN, GO TO FLOOR 30 AND TELL INKY AND NIGHTMARE WE NEED BACK UP!" Kacchan nodded and ran out of the room. I walked over to where shigaraki had landed and I swooped my arm through the air, clearing the dust. Shigaraki jumped at me and grabbed my arm again, but this time it had almost no effect. I punched Shigaraki in the side and he flew off of me. "TOGA, WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU JUST STANDING THERE, FUCKING GET THIS BRAT!" I felt a small stabbing pain before it healed, leaving the knife stuck in me but no longer a wound. "That doesn't fucking work on me anymore, Toga" I turned around quickly and hit her in the side of the head, but she turned into a mud like substance and disappeared. "Wow, you guys are really trying to attack huh. Well, I'm a lot stronger than before." Shigaraki laughed and jumped at me again, grabbing my arm and attempting to pin me down. I used my other arm and pulled the knife out from my skin and stabbed his hand with it, healing myself in the process as well. "Well Izuku, I've gotten stronger too, can't wait to see you in person soon." I heard footsteps rush into the room and the door slam open. "DEKU! ARE YOU OK!?" Shigaraki smiled and turned into the mud and disappeared. "I'm ok" I dropped the bloody knife and sighed. "It was a fake attack, only clones. But they still gathered information on us that they didn't need to learn, like when I'm going back to Japan. Just be on guard when you get back Kacchan." I looked at him, he had gotten a lot taller than when I had last seen him and he looked honestly badass. Me on the other hand looked like a war hero, the scars had faded slightly and my hair was longer but I still looked like someone you wouldn't want to mess with, despite my height of a fucking 5.6"ft. I was short, but I could still kick your ass. "You're the one who needs to be careful you fucking idiot." I sighed and shrugged. "You know I'm not that type of person. But I'll try, only for you Kacchan~" I winked at him, making him blush slightly. "Tch, whatever you damn nerd, just be fucking careful." I smiled and sighed again. "Ok you two love birds, Deku, he will be staying with you, correct?" "Correct" Inky nodded. "Ok, show him where he will be staying then." I nodded and started walking towards Kacchan and Inky. "Come on Kacchan, follow me." "Tch" I smirked and grabbed his hand, it was warm like a fire, very comforting in a way. I dragged him to the elevator and pressed the 29 button. "Seriously, you need to be fucking careful. I don't need you getting anymore injuries or scars. Seeing you like this, it just hurts me. I want to protect you, I don't want you hurt." I walked closer to Kacchan placed my hand on his cheek. "It's ok Kacchan. I will be fine, I will try to be more careful. I love you, and I want you to be happy." He smirked slightly and put his hand on mine. "I love you, you damn nerd" "I love you too, my hot headed lord explosion murder." His face turned slightly red. "You still remember that?" I giggled and removed my hand and placed it in his. "How could I not." The elevator stopped and we both got out. I took him to my room and unlocked the door. We walked in and I showed him around the place, including the talk area, where I usually sat when we talked on the phone. I went to my closet and I got changed into something more casual to chill in. "So, do you want to see the sketches for my merch that I've came up with?"
