Scorpius twirled his fork around, not feeling very hungry at supper. A forkful of peas sailed across the table, narrowly missing his face. He glared at Albus, who shovelled the take away that Draco had ordered in his mouth.
"So, Scorpius, " Harry asked, "how was your term? You aren't talking much."
Scorpius shrugged. "I dunno, " he muttered, moving around his food. He wanted to ask why Harry looks like that---why he looked like he had just lost his dog---but he thought it would be insensitive. "Nothing really."
"No Quidditch moves you want to share? No crushes?" He wagged his eyebrows, grinning savagely. Draco made a gagging noise and Harry turned to glare at him. "Be lucky we're married."
Albus snorted and Scorpius crossed his arms, his limbs like lead. He felt tired and he just wanted to go back up to his room. "No."
Harry's smile slid off his face and he looked at Draco, who blinked a few times. Albus chuckled nervously, saying, "Scorpius won this game against be a few weeks ago! He did something like---" he stood, waving his hands in circles. "---then he did this---" he made a noise like a child would, pretending to be an aeroplane. "---and then he got the Snitch!"
Scorpius blushed a deep red, sipping his water slowly. "It's not that big of a deal. Doesn't matter."
"In my fourth year, " Harry grinned, "I flew up the announcer's podium and punched Lee Jordan in the face because he called a false penalty."
Draco looked at him in shock, exclaiming, "You grabbed Fred Weasley's club and hit the end of his broom with it! And he was your teammate!"
"He was shouting at me!"
Draco put his head in his hands, trying not to laugh. "You called him a---"
"He started it, Draco!"
"No, he didn't!"
Albus asked, "Did you happen to, perhaps, start a fight at every corner, Dad?"
Harry grinned widely and told his son, "Once, I bit a Ravenclaw bloke who decided to get testy with me."
"You bit through his robes, " Draco said, a bit wistfully as he held back his laughter. "Clean through, Harry."
Harry patted his husbands arm. "I did, didn't I?"
Albus gagged, picking his plate up and moving to sit next to Scorpius, who glared at him. "Disgusting."
Harry grinned as Draco kissed his cheek and Albus exclaimed, "Gross! Dad, stop!" He threw his hands over his eyes while Scorpius felt his eyes prickling. If he were to tell his family of him and Erick, would Albus react this way? Throwing his hands over his eyes to shield him from a monstrosity such as himself? Would his parents react this way too?
"Scorpius? Are you okay?" asked Harry. Scorpius stood, pushing his chair back as he walked briskly to his room. Harry followed him, able to keep pace with the fourteen-year-old. "Scorpius, wait a second."
Scorpius peered at Harry through his open door, leaning his back against the doorframe. "What?"
"Are you alright? Do you want some tea, son?"
Scorpius blinked quickly. "I don't want tea. I'm tired." He shut the door quickly, making sure to turn the lock audibly. Harry stood behind the door for a moment before leaving. Albus looked at Harry, frowning.

Scorpius was having a wonderful dream:
He was sitting on a table, grinning widely at a familiar redhead coming towards him with his own sly grin. Scorpius wasn't sure why, but he desperately wanted him to grab at his hips like he did the other night.
But then, it ended. He opened his eyes, frowning. He tried to smother himself in his pillows, wanting to return to the dream.
There was a tapping at his window. He frowned deeper, sitting up. Scorpius went to his window, stepping back in shock. There was a figure crouching on the roof, mouthing, Open the window!
Scorpius' hands shook as he unlatched the window, pushing it up. "What're you doing here? Merlin, what time is it?"
He looked at his watch, which read seventeen minutes past midnight. Erick grinned as he came through the window and shut it. "I missed you."
"It hasn't even been a day." Erick laughed, but Scorpius had to shush him, saying, "Albus is in the next room over!"
"Where are your parents?"
"Downstairs, " Scorpius whispered. "But why aren't you at your home?"
"I. . ." Erick began, but he shook his head. "I don't want to talk about it yet."
"Where are you going to sleep?" asked Scorpius a bit anxiously. He bit back his grin, hoping not to sound too excited by Erick's possible answers.
Erick bent down, kissing Scorpius. When he pulled away, he whispered, "Hopefully, we can share a bed. If that's okay with you, of course."
"I don't mind!" he said excitedly. "How are you going to sleep in jeans, though?"
Erick stuffed his hands in his pockets, replying, "I can manage, "
Scorpius grinned sheepishly, climbing back into his bed as Erick kissed him again. Erick pulled himself over Scorpius' small form, pressing him into his sheets as they kissed. Erick broke away to kiss Scorpius' neck saying, "I love you, "
Scorpius pulled back, looking into Erick's oddly-coloured eyes in the darkened room. "You what?"
"I love you, " Erick repeated. "Want me to say it a third time, sweetheart?"
"Er, no, " stammered the flushed boy. "No, that's okay."
Erick grinned again, laying his head on one of the blonde boy's pillows. He studied Scorpius curiously, reaching his hand out to touch his porcelain face, brushing his hair behind his ear.
"I love you too, " Scorpius whispered when Erick traced his pink lips. "I love you, Erick."
