REAL LIFE
LOUISE LAY ON the cold covers as the phone screen lit up her face in the pitch black room. her dulled eyes watch the words that were once shared between her and dylan. she didn't miss him as her boyfriend nor did she want another relationship. but, she ached to have his presence back. she was bored and didn't have anything to do. thoughts about different things to do ran and jumped around her brain as her eyes and heart were somewhere completely different. she knew deep inside that she couldn't go back to him, despite not having feelings towards him in any way anymore she couldn't message him and keep her busy, and that's what killed her. louise flicked off her phone as she began to plan a knew routine for herself. one that didn't involve dylan, or needing him. louise pulled herself from the position she was in, straightening herself out. breathing in a new breathe through her nose, in her mind this was the first tiny step in the right direction to a new beginning for herself. she let it out again, the negativity and past being pushed away from her. louise whispered a few encouraging words and nothings to herself. louise had never felt so alone even if she had people blowing up her phone. she didn't feel sad anymore, she just felt numb. she understood why she was feeling that way and she acknowledged it too. the feeling of being unwanted by love itself, despite wanting love in her life hurt her a lot in this moment especially.
