Five months had passed,
And Adelaide was feeling better.
Her skills had come back,
and Megan had dropped out of school to become a hair stylist.
No one ever knew why Megan did what she did,
just a year ago she wanted to be a scientist.
Adelaide knew what she wanted, though.
To be free, and happy.
And she was,
And hoped she would be forever.
Her and Megan later in the future lost touch, but that was ok.
Because Adelaide knew that one day, she'd see her in the crowd.
And everything would be fine.
