They say when you meet the one its like being hit by a brick wall,

Your eyes meets hers and suddenly it feels like a free fall,

Your heart beats so fast you almost can't keep up,

For a moment you forget to breath because you suddenly need her more,

Firework's, explosions, butterflies, they come crashing in all at once,

The impact so strong you could almost topple backwards,

Novelist's, poets, singers they've said it so many times before,

All this feelings so intense it's hard to ignore,

So I don't understand how it is that I've never felt its touch,

What is this thing that kings go to war for,

What is this thing that empires crash and burn for,

What is this thing that hero's rise and fall for,

I never truly understood the reason for all this,

But then I met her and it suddenly began to make sense,

It was all for a force so strong even gods felt a need for,

It was all for the power of love.
