zoey walked home in the rain as it continuously poured. she'd left her umbrella in her office at her job and was too tired to go back. her car was in the shop and her usual ride wasn't in town.

austin was only a few feet behind zoey and he noticed as the girl used her small hood to cover up from the pouring rain.

he sped up to her and tapped her. "hey, i see that you don't have an umbrella, you wanna use mines?"

zoey turns in shock and stops walking. "aww that's very sweet of you, thank you sir."

"no problem, i'm austin by the way." he smiles.

"hey austin, i'm zoey, and i think we're gonna be amazing friends." zoey smiles back.

austin joins the shorter girl under the umbrella and the two then began to talk about how their lives were and what they did to enjoy.
