〔 C O N F E S S I O N 〕──── 让我们开始 ╮ ❛ UGH─── "You don't hate on a group because of their fans, that's a lame excuse just to spread hate. Being part of the fandom and stanning a group are two completely different things. I understand if you have had a bad encounter with one of their fans and don't want to associate themselves with them anymore, but it's no excuse to say that the group's songs are shit, the members are ugly or that their vocals/ rapping skills/dance skills suck just because you don't like the fans. I'm writing this because I saw a tweet on Twitter saying that "I could never stan BTS because of their delulu 12-year-old fans who btw never listened to anything except for BTS, and if they did, they'd quickly stop listening to them." and another one saying "Y'all are tasteless af for listening to children's music when there are many other groups way better than them." First of all saying that all and only 12-year-old stans are delulu is not true. I've seen plenty of 12- year-olds who listen only to BTS but are nice af, and I've seen 25-year-old sasaengs. Second of all assuming that all armys are 12-year-olds is also wrong. I'm an 20-year-old adult who stanned them since 2014, and I'm not the only one. Third of all, there's no group better than the other, if we had to ask fans to choose the best kpop group, they would only choose their faves. And lastly, BTS music isn't 'children music'. They speaks about diverse concerning matter, and the members are kind souls. The fandom that y'all like to hate on have raised more than one million dollars for the blm campaign after BTS donated one million dollars. What I'm saying is they aren't all that bad, just like they aren't all that good, but generalizing them is wrong because army consists of a lot of nice fans as well, not just toxic people. (And this applies to everyone. I've only mentioned BTS because they are the only group I've seen being targeted, but I'm sure they aren't the only group to be targeted this way." - anon
