STILL WITH YOU ───
"Since this is a confession book,
here's one. This is unrelated to kpop but I felt like
everyone should here it.
I knew my friend had depression but I didn't do
anything about it.
Maybe it was because we were 13-14 or because |
unknowingly had depression too, but I didn't take
her seriously. I thought feeling this way was
'normal', and, like my family likes to say, we are
just kids we don't know what we are talking
about. Everytime I tried to say something about it
to my parents, I immediately get mocked, so I
thought thought feeling this way was okay and
what everyone was going through, but it's not
and I only realised it once my friend attempted to
commit suicide.
She described it to me without tears or anything
like she didn't have regrets, and I knew that
something was wrong. Before that we would talk
about it so casually like small talk: she would tell
me about how she feels and I would 'relate' and
tell her how I feels, but now that I think about it, I
think this only encouraged her to end her life
further.

So what I'm trying to say is that if someone
shows signs of having depression, you should
gently approach them about it. Some people
have nobody to talk to, not even their family for
fear (like me before) of getting mocked, and
showing an interest in how they feel might boost
their morale and at the same time, you are
probably preventing them from taking their own
lives.
Here on wattpad, it doesn't require much to send
mean comments to someone, and those mean
comments could have a great impact on the
person, no matter how small the comment is. So
if it's not constructive criticism, then keep it to
yourself.
If you guys have no one to talk to irl and want to
talk to someone who understands what you are
going through, there's so many people here who
would be willing to listen to you, especially me,
who went through the

I also wanna add that; depression is VERY much real. But there are people out there who you would never even realize had it.. there are some people that don't like putting their feelings on to other people, therefor they will never tell people how they feel. I just wanna say make sure you tell your friends/family how much you love them. That their special and that they have a special place in your heart. And you know that one friend that everyone goes to to talk about their feelings etc? Make sure you take a second to ask that friend about their feelings as well.. Take a second to make sure their okay as well and that their doing fine too.
