Hey all! Just a quick moment of your time. I know I normally put the translations for the grounder language in bold after one of the grounders speak. But since this chapter is from Bellamy's point of view and he does not speak Trigedasleng (the grounder language) or understand it, the translation will not be included. I hope you all enjoy Bellamy's point of view!

We are surrounded. John Mbege is dead. Roma soon followed. Now there is only a couple of us left alive. Finn, Jasper, and I included. That is if we can escape this mess we got ourselves into. But that seems futile. Grounders on every side of us, closing in fast.

Even though I am about to die, all I can think is if Leigh is okay. Would she hate me forever? I guess it doesn't matter since I'll never see her again.

"Bellamy." I snap my head in the direction of a frightened Finn. "What are we going to do?" Finn asks.

I shake my head, trying to think. "I don't know," I tell him honestly.

"If only your grounder girlfriend was here," Finn jokes, but I can't help but agree with him. Leigh may hate us all, but she wouldn't just let us all die. Would she?

As if on cue, I hear the commanding voice, ringing out over the sound of a horn, I have grown to love and relief floods my entire body.

"Ai laik Leigh kom trikru en yu serve me!" she shouts. All of the grounder warriors, who just a minute ago were coming to end us all, stop and stare towards a hill. I follow their gaze and see her.

Burn marks trace all the way down her arms, disrupting the flow of her soft skin. She is dressed in different clothes than I saw her last. Dark brown fur wraps around her shoulders, but her torso is covered with what looks to be armor, similar to the warriors that surround my people. Her perfect face even seems to be wounded; a single gash rests on her left cheek. Even from my spot facing her, I can see her blood seeping through from her back. But probably the most disheartening picture from the scene is the wrapped and injured wrists that I know were the effect of her escape. She shouldn't have had to escape. And that will haunt me.

I snap back to reality when she yells another message that I cannot understand. "Ai laik a natblida, en ai ste serve the heda orders!" she directs at her people. I watch the grounders' faces break out in awe when she drags the blade across her arm and black blood leaks from the wound. So what if she has black blood? Don't all grounders? I admit when I first saw her blood color when I shot her, I was confused. But it is Earth, isn't everything down here confusing?
