Everyone got settled into a house. Everything was looking fine. Until Percy  had to say goodbye.

"Starfish I'm staying here. With you."

"No. Loki, you're needed in New York. If the Gods are looking for me then mortals have to be protected."

"I can't leave you."

"I know. But... we can call?"

Loki and Percy share a kiss and Loki goes to join the team on the quinjet. As the plane took off Percy waved goodbye to the blue-eyed immortal in the window.

Persephone, her twin children, Ethan and Zoë, and their pet wolf Ryker, were living in Anchorage, Alaska. Persephone, having a psychology degree, became a guidance counselor at the local high school, with Ethan and Zoë at the daycare across the street.

During her break Persephone went over to a little ma and pop grocery store to get some food for the first week. "Alright that'll be $31.40." Persephone gave the cashier woman her card. "You new to town?"

"How could you tell?"

"I think I would remember someone with teal hair." She said laughing, "I'm Dottie."

"Persephone. Percy."

"Considering the amount of applesauce you're buying... either you have kids or your recovering from surgery."

"Kids. Twins, actually. Little rascals."

"Oh lord. That must be tough. Do they go to the daycare down on Rawling?"

"Yeah. I'm about to go pick them up."

"You know my son, Marcus, works down there after school. I could ask him to kind of look out for them. I see no ring on your finger."

Persephone looked down at her right hand and smiled sweetly. "You're very observant. Yeah... car crash before the kids were born. But... that would be nice. But Ethan and Zoë both have ADHD. I wouldn't want to drive your son insane."

"Oh, sweet heart don't worry. Marcus... he has his own issues. It won't be a problem!"

"Thank you so much!" Persephone said grabbing her grocery bags and heading out. Persephone had made a friend.

Back in Manhattan, a young girl was walking home from school. The crowd around her saw only another fourteen year old girl listening to music. But inside this young girl held many secrets, some with her family, others only known by herself.

"Mom! I'm home!" The girl called out as she entered her family's apartment. No response. "Mom?"

The young girl tensed at the fact that her mother wasn't responding. Was she home alone? Did something happen? The girl ran to her bedroom and grabbed the dagger she kept hidden underneath her bed. Even her parents didn't know.

"Sorry but your mother is going to be a little late today."

The girl turned to see a man sitting in the corner of her bedroom. The girl had up her dagger in a fighting stance.

"Stand down Salem... Estelle Jackson, my name is Nick Fury, and I'm here to tell you about the Avengers Initiative."
