Wake up- Chapter 5

A/n: look, I'm gonna be real.... I have no idea what "important thing" I was gonna have the main character do this chapter. So uh... here's something that past me COULD have wanted.... also I apologize for not writing last week I just was busy and needed a week for inspiration.... or i was just lazy. Probably that one in all honesty.

I woke at at my usual time and remembered my promise to make Jaiden waffles this morning. So I got up, grabbed my phone, and made my sleepy self go to the kitchen and make my friend some waffles. Jaiden and I get along really well and it's been showing recently. I have a hard time picturing or remembering what I did before I met her and James. Probably spent a lot more time doing work. But this way is so much more fun. Hopefully soon we can get the whole gang back together. Anyways back to my waffles, I like making waffles and topping them with strawberries and whipped cream because it just taste way better and is less sugary than normal waffles and syrup. But I decided to let Jaiden top her own waffles however she wants. Then I made some coffee and scrambled eggs. Just then I remembered that Jaiden is trying to go vegan. Personally  I like live off meat, so I was fortunate to have stuff that doesn't have animal products... besides the waffles but she can have a cheat day I'm sure. Anyways everything is done, so I guess I should go wake up Jaiden.

Y/n: aye Jaiden, breakfast is ready.
Jaiden: mhmm?
Y/n: come on wake up.
Jaiden: fineeeee.
Y/n: there she is!
Jaiden: I'm not a morning person...
Y/n: yea neither am I, it's 11 o'clock thou.
Jaiden: wait really! Damnit I have to get home!
Y/n: easy there tiger, not without some breakfast.
Jaiden: oh right, thanks.
Y/n: no problem, oh I tried to make stuff as vegan as I could but I don't have a lot of those types of ingredients.
Jaiden: Aw you really didn't have too!
Y/n: I'm aware I didn't HAVE too. Now eat, I'm starting to sound like my mother.
Jaiden: well I appreciate it, this looks really good!
Y/n: thank you.
Jaiden: your girlfriend is one lucky girl.
Y/n: oh right I actually broke up with her a couple weeks ago.
Jaiden: wait why?
Y/n: I don't know the whole "long distance relationship" wasn't really for me I guess.
Jaiden: well I'm sorry.
Y/n: it's cool, I think we ended on good terms.
Jaiden: you think?
Y/n: yea I don't know... I still kinda like her but she's like several states away so it's kinda annoying. But hopefully she's fine.
Jaiden: yea hopefully. Anyways I gotta go, thank you for the meal, it was great!
Y/n: yea no problem Jaiden.
Jaiden: hey you wanna see a movie next weekend?
Y/n: yea sure, just text me when.
Jaiden: bet, see ya later alligator.
Y/n: after awhile crocodile.

Well, that was kinda nice. But I completely forgot about Gina (first name I thought of, this is literally nobody I know.) jeez I kinda wonder how she's doing. I mean. Should I text her just to chat and see? Or did I lose that privilege? You know what I'm sure she won't mind right? I mean she said she wanted to stay friends and friends check up on each other. Yea I think I will.

A/n: sup this book will begin normal chapters again and this time I now what I'm doing next chapter. This book will probably have like a max of 15 more chapters.
