Butterfly Effect- Chapter 8

A/n: sup gang, we hit 1k! So thank you tons for that! I hope you guys are enjoying the story, like I said, in comparison to my main book this one will be shorter and in all honesty probably finished off within the next 5-10 chapters. That all being said I do enjoy writing at the moment so who knows.

So I'm gonna be real. I don't know what to feel about Gina and jaiden. Like I don't know if Jaiden even likes me. But I think i definitely like her. And then there Gina. I know she likes me but I don't know if I like her. The heck happened to just a normal relationship. This idea of bringing Gina out to me was now clearly a terrible idea (a/n: no shit) and now I'm just confused. I don't even know how Jaiden is feeling about me inviting over Gina cause she isn't answering me. But you know who is? Gina. Do I know me and Gina will never work out in the long run? Yes. However I don't know what else to do.

*ring*

Y/n: hello?
Jaiden: hey...
Y/n: oh hey jaiden I was just about to call you!
Jaiden: yea? Well look I'm sorry for being a bad host the other day, just kinda was thrown for a loop. Your girlfriend can come over whenever you come.
Y/n: girlfriend? Oh Gina. No I'm single I've told you that.
Jaiden: well she clearly wants to date you.
Y/n: she already did thou.
Jaiden: look I'm just saying if you broke up with her why invite her?
Y/n: cause I'm a nice person... look are you mad?
Jaiden: no I'm just... your just confusing me. Like I feel like you like me, and I like you. But than you bring over your ex to MY party?
Y/n: hold up what did you say?
Jaiden: uh nothing look scratch that...
Y/n: Jaiden I do like you thou.
Jaiden: yea? Well then... decide.

*click*

Decide? What is there to decide?

Gina: hey y/n! So I was thinking...
Y/n: about?
Gina: well I know we broke up and I'm ok being just friends if you want. But I really still like you. In fact I think I love you.
Y/n: you what?
Gina: that's the reason you broke up with me right?
Y/n: I mean... it was one of them.
Gina: well I think I'm finally ready for a real loving relationship. And I think you're the best match.
Y/n: Gina...
Gina: no don't Gina me! Look all I ask is that you think about it ok? And preferably let me know regardless.
Y/n: I uh...
Gina: nope think about it!

Well... I guess now I know what Jaiden meant by "decide". I don't like this position. No matter what I'm gonna hurt somebody close to me. The only difference is, what one would I be ok with. I need to decide who I think would be better for me thou, not who would be hurt the least with the decision. Why was I even put in this position anyways like honestly. Whatever, no use complaining, might as well decide. After about 20-30 minutes of mentally debating myself, I think I have come to my decision. This feels like a cheesy romantic show or something I don't know.

*ring*

Jaiden: hello?
Y/n: hey Jaiden I've made up my mind...
Jaiden: and...
Y/n: and....

A/n: Lolol clifffssss sorry not sorry. Anyways I hopefully can be more consistent with my writing so you shouldn't be stuck on this cliff for that long. Anyways stay safe guys especially if you're around a protested area, if you do protest try and remain peaceful and stop looting random business, and finally don't do anything really stupid.
