Battle of the Brains- Chapter 7

A/n: sup y'all hope your having good days and shit, I'm writing this currently at 2 a.m. soooo yea this should be fun. I'll kms later I guesss.....

So we are almost at jaidens, like not even a minute away, and for some reason. I got really nervous. I don't know why. I've been really excited to bring the crew all back together and also meet some of my past, so this SHOULD kill two birds with one stone. But noooooo, my stupid brain is over thinking EVERYTHING! Whatever hopefully I can still enjoy this night.

Jaiden: y/n!!!
Y/n: hey Jaiden...
Jaiden: oh uh who's your friend?
Gina: you must be the Jaiden this guy keeps talking about! I'm Gina!
Jaiden: oh uh well Welcome come on in. Any friend of y/n is welcome.
Gina: he didn't tell you about me did he?
Y/n: oh shoot uh sorry, kinda forgot.
Gina: so they have no idea who I am?
Jaiden: it's really no problem, the more the merrier!
Gina: oh wait really?
Jaiden: yea no problem...
Gina: ah jeez you are as nice as he says! Alright let's party!
Y/n: sorry it completely escaped my brain.
Jaiden: it's uh... no problem. Come on in.

Well... that went... well? I think.

James: hey y/n, who's your friend?
Gina: I'm Gina everyone, y/n's... friend.
Y/n: right friend, uh anyways she visiting so I brought her with
James: no problem, the more the merrier. Right?
Jaiden: sure uh what game do you want to play?
Gina: oh let's play cards against humanity!
Jaiden: uh yea that sounds like it could be fun... James you mind getting it? I'll get the beverages.
Gina: I'll help!
Jaiden: you really don't have to....
Gina: oh hush, us girls have to stick together!
Jaiden: right... uh let's go then...
James: actually I mean y/n, I might need help too...
Y/n: uh I mean ok?

I got up off the couch, received a very bright smile from Gina and a look from Jaiden that said, "why" basically. I felt bad that I didn't ask but I didn't think it would really be a problem. They always say, "the more the merrier" but I guess this is kinda weird. For me, y/n y/l.n to bring a girl over to my friends game night with nothing. Heck I never even talked about her before I think. Anyways i got up, and went into the other room with James. Poor Adam.

James: so, who's the girl?
Y/n: I'm starting to think you didn't need my help grabbing this card game...
James: well I thought it was a great opportunity to talk you know... friend via friend... so who's the girl.
Y/n: she's just an ex, I promised her to remain friends once we broke up and then left for here. Look I know it's weird but she doesn't really have a whole lot of other people right now and needed a break.
James: ok, I'll believe you, but why did you bring her here then?
Y/n: she wanted to meet my new friends here and see a part of my new life...
James: ok, but look man, just don't let her do anything that would upset Jaiden.
Y/n: the last person I want to hurt is Jaiden...
James: alright... good... now let's get this game.
Y/n: right yea no you most definitely needed me for this part.
James: it seemed like a good time to do a one-on-one and I haven't done those before so... suck it.
Y/n: whatever you say man, let's just get back before Adam dies of boredom...
James: oh right Adam!

James and myself grabbed the game and headed back to the game room where the girls were still getting drinks. Surprising literally no one, Gina was basically having a conversation with herself at this point. Eventually they brought back the beverages, I was surprised to see my favorite drink on the table.

Y/n: is that for me?
Jaiden: yea I remember you said you liked those so I got you one.
Y/n: aw thanks Jaiden!
Jaiden: no problem, let's play!

We spent the next few hours playing this game. Gina was seemingly having a great time, I forgot how fun she can be sometimes. Jaiden also seemed to enjoy herself but always got a little annoyed at Gina whenever she did... literally almost anything. Eventually everyone had there share of this game and started to get ready to leave.

Y/n: alright well this was fun guys, I look forward to next time.
Gina: yea it was awesome meeting you!
Jaiden: yea, you too...

Gina and myself left the room and headed to my car.

Gina: I like your friends, they seem fun! But Jaiden doesn't seem to really like me.
Y/n: yea she's a hard person to read but once she likes you, your set.
Gina: well regardless I had a great time.
Y/n: I'm really glad.
Gina: shall we?
Y/n: we shall...

Look as much as I don't want to admit it... Gina has been great recently. But I don't know how I feel about Jaiden. I know Gina isn't a long term fit for me... but I don't know I guess...

A/n: sup you peeps. I'm back! I don't really have a "system" at the moment, I just write when I want and have time and edit when I can... that being said more consistent chapters should be coming then before. Sorry for the short break, it was finals and I'm a busy guy... don't die, go for a jog, and adopt!
