As promised they all stayed outside the door in battle stances ready to spring into action and a moments notice, Bruce finally taught Thor how to use the radio and hold it without breaking it (we went through a LOT of radios). Finally we were all ready.
"I'm here, what do you want?" I ask, trying hard to make it sound like I don't want to be here.
"Hello Mortal," he responded lazily from his spot on the cot.
"Again, I have a name," I spit out angrily.
"Close the door if you want me to talk...Mortal." he keeps his calm level headed tone, though a smirk broke through for only a second when he added mortal, not long enough to know if he really did it or not. I look to Steve for confirmation, he nods.
"Fine."I say calming my tone to match his, as I walk slowly to the control panel in the room.
"Very well done, Ember. You just made my job a lot easier." the last thing I notice before I get struck in the back of the head are my hands glowing green. 'Who's Ember?'
{is it just me or can you hear his voice in my ear, giving me shivers}
I spin quickly fighting to stay conscious seeing Loki smirking at me, I go to use my radio only getting half of my warning out, "WE PUT THE WRONG LOKI IN THE CELL! IT WAS HIS CLONE,DIRECTOR OPE-"
I lose the ability to talk fighting so hard against the darkness clouding my vision.
"I'm locked out! Rogers break the door down." Nick says, only bearly hiding the panic in his voice.
I lean against the rail beside me, finally being able to spit out my sentence even though it was only a wisper,"What do you want?"
"You will find out soon enough, Darling." He says as he steps closer, 'DARLING?! WHAT THE HELL'
