Link covered his face, is was dark other than the light that was now on the car.
Then the car door opened.

"Don't kill me! I have to see my kids! I-" Link started to blurt out before being cut off.
"Link" a familiar voice said.
Link looked up, he saw Rhett and jumped out of his seat, despite banging his head on the roof of the car he hugged his best friend.
"Oh thank god, I thought you were about to kill me!" Link said.
"Yeah, I am going to kill you if you don't tell me how the hell you got all the way out here." Rhett remarked.
Link sat back down, letting out a shakey breath.
"I guess my mind was was wandering and I started falling asleep again and I- " Link's voice faded out as he looked at his steering wheel.
"Start up your car." Rhett said. Link nodded in obedience.
Soon Link was following Rhett as the drove back to Link's house.
Link parked and got out, going to Rhett's car.
"Thanks again, man." Link said.
Rhett smiled and nodded.
"Any time."
Link stood there for a second, his mind fading blank.
Rhett looked at him.
"You good, man?" He asked.
Link shook his head to snap out of it.
"Y-yeah! I am fine!" He said, turning back and going off into his house.
Link laid down on his sofa.
"Over thirty years and I will fuck it all up because of one stupid feeling." Link muttered to himself.
Rhett had followed him in, Link unknowingly to this.
"What does that mean, Link?"
Link jumped up, falling off the sofa before jumping back up.
"Rhett! I- oh, god." He looked up at him before sighing, face feeling warm.

Then Link felt beard hair on his face, warm lips pressing to his.
His eyes went wide before he let them close, Rhett pulling away.
"Are those stupid feeling anything like that?" Rhett asked.
"Shit, man. I am not crazy?" Link asked.
"Oh, no, you are. But we both can be." Rhett smiled.
"Then I guess we are crazy." Link said, smiling.
Link sat on the sofa, Rhett falling next to him.
"This will be a lot to explain." Rhett said.
"Who says we have to say anything about it?" Link looked at him.
Rhett laid his head on Link's shoulder.
"Then we won't talk about it." Rhett said.
"I am fine with that."
