"So you really don't know what happens with all three of them?" I hummed, staring at the three bronze spheres on my desk.

GM Notice: 'Not the Foggiest. Enjoy, and Congrats!'

"Hmm... alright, then let's see if we can do something with you all..." I inspected the surfaces of the two new Spheres, both covered in Runes and Magic circles instead of the alchemical and scientific formulae of the first two. "Oh dear, what's that idiot Magic Man done to you, you poor babies?!?" I sighed dramatically, and began comparing the Runes on the spheres to the dictionary I'd built from Gerard's notes.

Over all, the designs were exactly alike, but the Runes replaced the chemical symbols and numbers, so, using this, I essentially translated the Runes into Chemical Reactions, and ended up with a surprisingly structured system for Runic Magic; each Rune was a Reaction, but self-contained and designed to be perfectly Efficient and Self-Sustaining, effectively translating all Magic to actual Chemical Equations and Physical Phenomena, which I hadn't expected.

"You're using a Hard-Magic System?" I asked the air around me incredulously, leaning back from the desk.

GM Notice: 'You're the first to notice, but yes. Pretty cool, huh?'

"Oh yeah... I can work with this... I can Code this... I could create-... that's what it meant by 'Arcane Enchantment', when it changed from 'Arcane Elemental' to just 'Arcane', as I leveled up? I was supposed to be studying Magical Spells and actually writing them down so I could Enchant them..." I laughed self-deprecatingly, nonsensically pissed that I hadn't noticed yet.

GM Notice: 'And again; you're the first to notice the similarities. Others have succeeded in enchanting things with spells, but they've not made the connection between the two, and powering the spells is an issue, considering the energy requirements of most of them.'

"Hmm... good to know... of course, the Equations here are just for Containing the Materials inside, and keeping the very basic AI inside... but it's the AI that has all the Abilities..." I muttered, deciding that the mixture was necessary, but this system of prioritizing Containment over Use was unnecessary, unless it was being used by someone without the Command Skill, but this was an Alchemist's Item and thus that was pointless and redundant, wasting valuable space in the enchantment.

A new Casing would have to be built, as these Runes were engraved and Enchanted in, and in that I had an opportunity to redesign it entirely. There were Three AI's, Three Abilities, and One Purpose: to assist an Alchemist in crafting and designing things. Therefore, one containment unit wouldn't cut it, because mixing three different AI would be asking for disaster, so instead they would be kept separate, but still capable of interacting... just like my Rook, I realized.

"Huh... alright... so I either need a way to recreate the Rook, but with only three compartments... Or I create a Pocket Plane and simply access it with a device? That's safer, so if I die I just have to build another one, because the original will be in my Loot, and completely Useless except as an Incomplete Gestalt Sphere, like my original one... that way the Quest could continue for other players." I nodded and carried all three spheres into my Labyrinth, heading for the 13th Floor and specifically the Matriarch's Hoard.

"Ahh, the Creator Returns... how are you feeling, Mistress?" The Matriarch's silky voice resonated in the bronze room, while she stared happily at the eggs in her Clutch, as well as her Mate's Phylactery.

"Doing well, actually, Matriarch! And yourself? Is your Harem doing their job of keeping you Occupied?" I smirked at the double entendre, and she laughed heartily.
