"Sorry abah... Sorry ibu...", we said in unison. "It's alright. Just remember to follow the protocol next time", our father reminded us while our mother nodded in agreement. Luck was on our side just now. Both representatives just chuckled at out behaviour and excused us all from the ceremony. They knew it was our first time at one and understood how we must've missed our father. So, we got some extra time together! We walked down the corridor while heading to the car.
"It's almost noon. How about we go get lunch?" our father suggested. Our mother supported him. "Good idea! We could catch up while we're at it". "I'll choose the restaurant!" "No, I'll choose!" Both Awang and Simpur started argueing. "First one to the car gets to choose!" I said before running off to claim the prize. "Hey! That's not fair, Along!" The twins quickly ran after me. Our mother yelled "Be careful!", hoping we could hear her while our father just shook his head whilst smiling to himself. I felt content. We got to spend time together as one complete family.
