In soccer, a dangerous play is defined as any action by a player deemed dangerous to themselves or to another player; the action becomes an offense only when an opponent is adversely affected.
Both of the McMahon twins know this very well, having received far too many yellow cards to claim otherwise. But when it comes to relationships and real life, sometimes there's no warning before trouble arrives.
For Abby McMahon, trouble goes by the name Kieran Valencia, her brother's best friend with irresistible charms and a vicious ex-girlfriend to boot. So when he asks for her help in keeping his ex away, she agrees to pretend to be his girlfriend. After all, it's only a dangerous play if someone could get hurt, and there's no risk of her falling for him... right?
Finn McMahon can't get Eden Sayed out of his head. He doesn't believe in love at first sight, but love after a drunken one-night stand? Now there's an idea he can get behind, especially when it comes in the form of her honey eyes and inky black hair. The only problem: she's best friends with Kieran's ex, and everyone knows one of the first rules of friendship is to never to get involved with the friends of your friend's ex. Too bad he's never been good at following the rules.

side note, this is my Camp NaNoWriMo project that I have admittedly been doing a rather poor job of keeping up with. I'm trying tho! that's gotta count for something. the point is, it's unedited, it's messy, it's very much a first draft, so there will definitely be parts that make zero sense, but most importantly, it's fun! at least, I hope you find it as fun to read as I did to write.
