I park across the street from Hudson and Co. and Shawn pulls up behind me. He gets out of his car and sits inside mine. "You know how to hack into a computer right?" I ask him. "Damn Jaxson, I thought you did" I sigh. "Do you know anyone who can?" "Milo, he should be back now." He says taking out his phone. "NO!" I yell. "What?" "Ava said we shouldn't trust him" I tell him. "Of course she would tell you, her husband, not to trust the guy she's been having sex with" I roll my eyes. "I'm serious Shawn. Who else do you know?" I ask him. He thinks for a second "Rob" he says this time dialing a number on the phone. "Hey, how fast can you be at Hudson and Co.?" he asks. "No, you don't need to bring anything just come" He says hanging up. "What are we looking for exactly?" he asks me. "I don't know, whatever we find." I tell him. We have to at least try to save her. "I hope we find something." He says and I agree with him.

The knocking on the window scares both of us. "Man what the hell you sneaking around for?" Shawn asks him rolling the window down. "I'm sneaking? You're the one in all black sitting across from a company you don't even work at" he says. "Just get in" Shawn tells him. He gets in the back seat and slides into the middle. "Oh, you're Avas' husband" He says and I nod. I don't mind being known as her husband. "So why am I here?" he asks. "We're going to break in. I need you to hack into the computers" Shawn explains to him. He laughs "yeah, I'm out" "Rob" Shawn says, stopping him from leaving the car. "What? I'm not going to help you guys ruin Avas' company. We're friends and all Shawn but I'm loyal to her." I guess we have to tell him. "No one has seen or heard from Ava in six months. We're trying to figure out what her dad did to her." I tell him honestly. "Bullshit" he says. "I'm her husband, do you think I would sabotage her company?" I ask him. "Look we aren't lying. We don't have much time. Are you going to help us or not?" "Okay" he says realizing the seriousness of the situation. "She's been missing for months and you're just trying to find her?" he asks me as Shawn picks the lock of the double doors. I nod "I thought she was away on business, like the note says. I'm so stupid" I say. He nods "you are, I don't think you realize how much danger she could be in. Her father is far from being a good person" he says. "I know" I tell him. "Got it" Shawn says pushing one of the sliding doors open. We take the stairs to the fifth floor. I open the door to his office thankful that he doesn't lock it. I turn on the lamp on his desk and start to look through some papers while Rob and Shawn work on hacking the computer. "I bought three flash drives so we can only do three computers" he says. "We only need this one" Shawn says. "No, I think we should check Cedrics too" he just seems like he's hiding something. "We're in guys" he says. "Lets look through everything" Shawn says. "No, why do you think I mentioned the flash drives?" I shrug and he rolls his eyes as if he was calling us rookies. "You can't go through it all right now, just upload everything off the computer onto the drive and go over it when you get home." He says sticking the flash drive in the side of the computer. "Lets get the other one now" he says. He repeats the exact same process he did with the other computer. "That's so weird" he mumbles. "What?" "It says his password was Ava Hudson. "He's obsessed with her" I tell him. It's unhealthy how obsessed he is. He sticks the flash drive in and looks around. "It'll take ten minutes. We have one more." He says holding up the flash drive. "It won't hurt to check Avas' computer." Shawn says and I nod agreeing with him. I lead them to Ava's office and the door is locked. "It's never been locked before" I tell them. Shawn starts picking the lock just like he did with the door outside. "Where do you guys think he's keeping her?" Rob asks. "We honestly don't even know if she's alive" I say stating the sad truth. "Wow" Rob says and I nod. Shawn pushes the office door open and there's papers thrown all over the room. It looks like someone just came in here and destroyed everything. Even the pictures Ava has on her desk were knocked on the floor. "I wonder what happened here" Shawn says. "Who knows with these people." Rob sits down at her desk and starts typing things into the computer. "She hasn't been on this in a while" he says. "Why do  you think that?" Shawn asks "It's taking too long to start up" he says. That's not surprising.
Once we get all the flash drives and leave everything how we found it we go back down stairs. "We meeting at my house?" I ask them. Rob hands me the flash drives "I have somewhere to be. Make sure you guys call me if you find anything out or need help." I shake his hand and he walks across the street to his car. "I'll follow you" he says. I shake my head no "Just go straight to my house, I have to pick Bella up from Penelope" I tell him. "It's 2 in the morning, why isn't she staying the night?" He asks as we cross the road. "She thinks I'm going to disappear like Ava. She doesn't want to be by herself" I tell him. "That's sad, hopefully we find Ava so she can be with her mom again."
