THE UNTOLD PAST

Y/n's POV

My head pounding. I try to move my body but I can't. My hands and legs is tied to chair that I sit right now. The light above me cause a sweat bead as it dripping down from my face. I can't see anything since my eyes covered by a piece of cloth.

"Hey! Let me go!" Again I try to free myself but failed.

"Not so fast, Y/n." Suddenly someone snatch away the blindfold. My head still pounding since I'm trying to adjust my vision. Slowly, two figure emerges before my eyes. Then my eyes fixed on the man who avoiding my gaze. I recognize him! He is the one who bumped into me on the day Mina get hit. I clenched my jaw, trying to supress my emotion. The other man eyeing me intently since I don't pay attention to him.

"So do you already know him, Y/n?" The beard man asking me.

"He was there! The day Mina was hit," I say with my gaze still on that man.

"Ahh! I see," the beard one clasped his hand together and turn his body toward the silent man. "Hyun Ji-ah, looks like you are breaking rules here. I will deal with you later," that beard man turn to face me again. He smirked at me when he seeing me glaring to the other man.

"Where is my courtesy? The name is Jung Goo Ri. Nice to meet you, Park Y/n," the beard man bowed slightly to me. I averted my eyes to Goo Ri. I swear to God, I will smack that smirk off his face. Suddenly it clicked. Jung Goo Ri? As the son to Jung Hyungmon? Hal-abeoji's old friend? My eyes get widen. Goo Ri snickered at my reaction.

"Guess, you already recognize me. So let's skip to the business okay?" Goo Ri raised his eyebrows to me and take a chair and place it infront of me. He then took a seat. "So, your grandfather appoint you as heir right?"

"Where is Mina and Jimin?" I asked while stare at him.

"Answer the question first."

"I will answer it after I see them" I determined.

Goo Ri let out a small laugh before gesturing one of his goons to bring Mina and Jimin. They both had gun pointed at their head. Jimin get cuts and bruises while Mina just cry silently. Jimin barely can open his eyes. He look at me with his swallon eyes. "Y-Y/n? W-what....are y-you d-doing here?" Jimin asked me and spit out the blood. Looks like he take a hell of beat from the goons.

"Don't worry Jimin. I'll get us out from here," tears filled up my bays as I saw Jimin smile and nod at me. "I know you will, Y/n" he said slowly but I still can caught it.

"What a beautiful reunion. And now...," Goo Ri look at me before continue, "Answer the question, your grandfather make you as the heir of Park Holding, isn't it?"

I took a glance at Jimin and he seems shocked with that question. "If I answer this, will they be free?" I look at both of them. Goo Ri give me a boring look, "Depends on you." I can see Jimin shook his head but I just can give a reassuring smile. I know he will protest if I admit I am the heir and put me in danger. But I can't risk their live either. If Goo Ri knew Jimin is the real heir, he might do something bad to him. And Park's Holding will lost it's heir. I stare straight into Goo Ri eyes before speak.

"Yes, I am." I answered it and hear a sigh from Hyun Ji. He try to avoid my eyes when I try to find his. Goo Ri let out a devilish laugh while approaching Hyun Ji who just stay silent on his feet. "You were right! She definitely his favourite! We are going to be rich and you are gonna get a proper recognition, Hyun Ji! Our plan are going to work!" Goo Ri throws his arm around Hyun Ji's neck. But this time, Hyun Ji look at me with a sad look.

"No, Goo Ri. It's never our plan. It always yours," Hyun Ji's eyes still lingering at me. I can see a glitter of tears in his eyes. He slowly back away from Goo Ri's embrace. Goo Ri rubbed his hair out of frustration. He then glare at Hyun Ji.
