3rd Person POV

A month later

Mina stare at Y/N photo on the tombstone. She smile bright as the sun. Mina slowly read the words carved on the tombstones.

'An angel from above. A devoted daughter, a loyal lover, a kind friend. Rest well, Park Y/n, our angel.'

Mina couldn't shed any tears anymore. Her heart doesn't even feel anything. She become numb. Completely numb.

"Everything will be fine," a voice greet Mina. Mina just smile at those words. No, nothing will never be fine. It's been 3 months since Y/n left her. She still can't get over it. She will never. Mina stare at her diamond ring which tightly wrapped around her finger.

"Everything will be fine if she's still here," Mina look at Jimin who standing behind her. Jimin's eyes swollen. His eyes still glassy and he seems a little bit messy.

"I wish she was here too, Mina. I really wish," Jimin's voice cracked again. He then ruffled his messy hair. Mina smile bitterly at Jimin's words before averting her eyes to the potrait infront of her. A ringing phone interupt them. Jimin quickly answered the phone.

"Yes, Park Jimin speaking."

"Alright, we will be there soon," Jimin ended the call before look at Mina again. "The hearing will start soon enough. Come on," Jimin hold out his hand and Mina reach for it. They hold each other hand, stepping out from the graveyard. Mina took a last look at Y/n's grave.

"I will make sure justice will be on your side, baby," Mina whispered to herself. A drop of crystal clear running down to her cheeks.

V took step on the witness stand. A man approach him with a bible on his hand. V lay his palm on the bible. His eyes stares deep at the fatigue infront of him who in the accused stand.

"Do you swear you will speak nothing but the truth infront of the judge?" That man ask.

"I swear I will speak nothing but the truth," V answered it coldly. His eyes never left the latter who just look blankly at him.

"You can proceed, Mr Kim. Tell us what happened that night," the plaintiff lawyer gesture V to explain what happened that night.

V runs until he feel his feet numb but he keep on running while he has been non-stop calling Y/n's phone. His feet stopped when he saw peoples gather around the road. There's polices everywhere. That place has been barricade by the police line tape.

His legs weaken but he gather all his strength that left and moved closer towards the scene. One of the officer try to stopped him but V just push him aside. V kneel beside the body bag. Detective Choi recognize V and moved towards him. "Mr Kim, how you—,"

"Is this her?" V asked with his cracked voice.

Detective Choi hold his shoulder before nodding to the medical officer to unzip the body bag. That medical officer nodded and slowly unzip the body bag.

V's breath got stuck at his throat. His eyes can't believe what he saw. Tears streaming down his face when he saw Y/n's face covered with blood. "Y/n...No...no," V buried his face in his palm. Detective Choi try her hard not to shed any tears but defeated. She felt the loss. Y/n and her become closer after she is the one who investigating Y/n's father case years ago. She can't imagine how hard it will be for those who Y/n close with.
