"The struggle humbled me, without it I wouldn't be the man I was today. I used to wake up every morning with no food on my table and now I'ma multi-billionaire. You don't need anything but drive and a creative project to put out into the world. And you can be gifted but the money game is strategic. You can't make millions out of thin air, you can't expect things to be handed to you in this world. Nothing in this life is fair and it's our job to give our life purpose and meaning. It's not supposed to be easy. For some, it is but for those of you that are in a tough spot things do get better. You're talking to a man that slept in his car to travel around the world to network and build my brand. I didn't waste a minute of time," Killa spoke to the crowd of high schoolers. He was doing press conferences and he also placed an event for the school in his old neighborhood.

He was donating to support the school and get some things fixed. He was also going to invest and provide better equipment and adding curriculums like black history and also to talk about business.

A school that actually gave a fuck about it's students was important. He was telling me on the way here how he walked these halls and watched kids get stabbed while teachers stood by and did nothing.

Nothing has gotten better for the students. The low-income school was not concerned about the kids, the test scores have dropped to the 200th spot in the state. There was a lot of work that had to be done.

"You kids rather worry about your favorite celebrity and what they have, when you can have that and more. Your perception of yourself is way worse than what other people see you as. We can be our worst enemy! Please be aware that the only person you have at the end of the day is yourself," he kept the mic towards his mouth and looked around the abandoned-looking gym.

I sat down on the bleachers beside Boog and smirked at Kilante. I really admired him, he gave me so much hope for the world. I know most people in his situation were selfish. Billionaires wouldn't even donate to a school like this, they seem to always keep the poppin' schools poppin'.

"You really like him? Or you trying to get on his good side so you can run away?" Boog kept his eyes forward not turning toward me to ask the burning question.

"I actually do. And what's the point in leaving? I have nothing to go back to and as much as I do miss being comfortable in my own home I can't just leave him. We've developed feelings over the past few months," I said honestly, shrugging my shoulders and biting down on my lip.

I have thought about leaving but where would I go? I have nothing back home. I think this was God showing me new things, minus the kidnapping part unless that was all part of the plan.

"Don't hurt him," Boog looked over to me and shook his head. "He really fucks witchu man, I'll be damned if I see that nigga broken again."

"Why would I risk my life to hurt him? I mean all of our relationships haven't been perfect this whole time but we still working on it. I don't even understand how we jumped in so fast and you being a fucking instigator all the time isn't helping," I rolled my eyes at him, he was like a nagging ass younger brother.

"Just keep it real with him, that's all I'm saying," he turned and nudged me.

"I been doing that," I licked my lips and looked down at my phone to check the time.

Killa was wrapping up his speech, handing the mic back over to the principal when he was done. I stood up for him and clapped for him, this fat ass ring getting in the way.

We were in the public as a newlywed couple. He was treating me like his wife behind the camera. I didn't need to ask him for anything, it's like he knew how to read my mind.

He licked his lips and looked over to me. I smirked and walked over to him and he pulled me into his chest. "You ready to go?"

"Yeah, but if you got more to do that's fine." I looked up at him and smiled all wide. "Why you got me feeling like this man, I can't stand you,"

"I could ask you the same thing. You got me on my toes, can't even think about another woman cause you constantly on my mind. I really like you and as soon as I have time I'm gone make time for the both of us," he rocked me side to side, pressing his lips upon my cheek for a long period of time.

"Can y'all stop being so ugly? I'm sick of you two," Boog smacked his lips and Kilante just cut his eyes at him.

"I'll leave you here and you can find a way home," He scoffed and Boog didn't say anything after that. "That's what the fuck I thought. You know you like us together, stop hating,"

"You right. I'm just jealous cause Iris ain't pick me," Boog smirked and I just rolled my eyes, he always had some shit to say.

"She picked right," Killa said walking with me to the front exit, heading toward his truck.

"If it wasn't for me the two of y'all wouldn't even be in the same room right now," Boog argued, and it was weak as hell. I was not trying to hear that right now and I'm overthinking our relationship half the time.

"We would've crossed paths eventually," Killa responded and I twisted my lips and squinted my eyes at the beaming sun. It was getting hotter in New York by the minute and I wasn't ready for the summer.

I needed to go shopping again and of course, Killa didn't have a choice but to take me. That's where we will be going for this first date.

"We going home?" I raised an eyebrow and he looked down at me.

"Do you wanna go home?"

"I lowkey need some new clothes so if we could go to the mall that'd be great," I smiled like a kid in the candy store. He better not say no.

"We not staying out there all day Iris," he chuckled all deep, making my thighs tingle.

It didn't take long for us to get back into our side of town. Kilante made his way to the mall and I was so ready to go shopping, I wasn't going to use all his money I had been saving the money he gave me just so I didn't have to depend on him for anything. But he spoiled me and I wasn't complaining.

"Don't take all day in here," Boog complained.

"Next time can we leave him at home?" I rolled my eyes and Boog mocked me.

"He's gone get kicked out the crib too if he keep it up," Killa gave him the side-eye, he just raised his hands up in defense.

"Aight I plead the fifth," Boog laughed. "I don't want no smoke wit' the newlyweds,"

"If we got married foreal you wouldn't be wit' us all the time," I scoffed and he tried his hardest not to say anything back to me.

He used to be able to get away with shit like that before. But Killa wasn't tolerating any Iris slander and I stanned my man. He was my biggest fan and wasn't letting anybody come at me sideways.
