Sailor Moon first encountered the Edionan race when Ail and An landed on Earth, draining energy from humans in a misguided attempt to stay alive, unaware that their Doom Tree was in fact the much more benevolent Tree of Life that had birthed their species. Having faced a calamity on their home-world, it had been forced to leave in an attempt to save two young children.

Growing up in the depths of space with a Tree that was too weak to speak to them, Ail and An became twisted and selfish, unaware of their heritage. When after great turmoil the Tree revealed its sentience, they realised their wrongdoing and left Earth in peace to find a new home.

Much later, another member of this race arrived on Earth; this was not Fiore's first visit, but his return was filled with malice thanks to the influence of the Xenian flower, who used his childhood connection to Mamoru to twist his intentions

But what exactly happened to their home-world that forced these unintentional villains to flee it? How many others survived? Did they have senshi of their own?

Hailing from the planet Ediona that orbits around the star that gives the Palladium system it's name, Aster is a young man of calm disposition with a talent for summoning Cardians. He can often be found wearing formal wear similar to that of Fiore's though he is not bound to it, also sporting the more common bodysuit with an orange vest and a matching gem just below his neck. He wears his long green hair free in the back, with two thick locks framing his face carefully bound together with decorative bands below his pinkish-purple highlights. His green eyes are clear but distant, adding to his stern and mysterious disposition.

Amarylla is a young woman of medium height; her spiky pink hair cut short on one side and shaved on the other streaked with bright blue highlights that match her eyes, and darker green skin covered in henna tattoos giving her away as a member of the Edionan colony on Meida, a jungle covered moon of the more distant gas giant Pentas. Typically clad in the Meidan variation of the Edionan bodysuit featuring a sleeveless top half with shorts on the bottom and a red vest on top with a purple gem at her chest, she can also be found in her personal variation of the Palladium senshi uniform.

Crowned with a simple gold circlet, a flowing black sleeveless cloak sits under her sailor collar, split under her dark purple petal-like bow and revealing the deep pink-tinged maroon of her bodysuit, it reaches down past her knees with a purple lining on the inside. Her bodysuit cuts off at small shorts, he skin showing until her knees where the tops of her boots have a ragged cut that match the edges of her cloak and the short finger-less cloves she wears. Lined with gold decorations and brandishing a magical machete, she takes on a more serious look as Sailor Meida, Guardian of the Jungle.

I know this is not the conventional way to start a story, and that the prologues may seem a bit distant, but I felt the need to provide some context since those who don't know this headcanon would be quite lost otherwise

I do hope you give it a chance though, as I think this expansion on Ail and An's race is a fun and interesting one, and while this story only covers a small, distant part of it (for now), you might just find yourself enjoying it ^^
