We drove to the hospital and I was crying all the way there. Alejandro was trying to drive fast but not too fast. As soon as we got there we got out the car and ran inside. I seen her mom and she ran up to me and hugged me
Y-where is she and Troy?!
D/m-they took her to the emergency room.
Y-what happened. She just went to go get food?
D/m-the police officers had said that a they were driving when a drunk driver took a red light and crashed right into the passengers side of the car and the car had flipped over. They said once they got there both Dez and Troy were unconscious.

Her mom and I sat down and she just hugged me messing around with my hair. Dez's mom was like a second mom to me. She took care of like I was her daughter.

I got up and walked to the restroom and washed my face, looking at myself in the mirror and crying even more.
As I walked out Mattia ran to me
Mattia-hey. They said Dez and Troy are alive but still unconscious. They have to checks for any broken bones and damage to their brain
Y-it's my fault. If we had just went out to eat this probably wouldn't have happened Mattia. Two of best friends could have died and now their hurt
Tears rolling down my face

Mattia cupped my face and stared at me
Mattia-it's not your fault y/n. It's no ones fault besides that drunk driver. He's going to jail for a ling time.
He hugged me and I buried my head in his shoulder and we just stood there in the hallway hugging each other

I let go of Mattia and hector hugged me
Hector-I heard what happened
We all walked back to Dez's mom and Kairi and Alejandro
We all sat there and I laid my head on Hectors shoulder. We waited for houses until they finally closed came
Doctor-parents of Dez Machado?
We all stood up
Doctor-uh can I talk to the mother privately please?
D/m-you can say it to all of us. Their her family too
She smiled at us
Doctor-Dez is okay. We were able to save her but she's in coma and we don't know when she wake up
Y-and the boy his name is Troy?
Doctor-where are his parents?
Kairi-we tried calling but no one answered?
Doctor-well since the car didn't hit the drivers side he wasn't badly injured. He's in the other room with a broken arm and rib. We took care of it and he should be able to take off the cast in a few weeks. Dez does have a broken arm and leg aswell
Y-can we see him?
The doctor nodded and took us to Troys room and he looked at us and stared crying
Troy-I'm so sorry Ms.Machado. I didn't seen the car coming and our light was green-

Mattia-she's in a coma for now

Y-sure you can. I'm an only child and my mom is always at work. I'm sure if I ask her she'll be fine with it. We have an extra room

I held his hand while Dez's mom went to her room. As much as I wanted to go with her I didn't want to see Dez with tubes all over and seeing her in that gurney. After a while I let go of Troy's hand and walked over to Dez's room which was right next door

So apparently I was supposed to record myself talking about a speech for English and it was due Friday and I just found out today. But and I gonna do it? Probably not😂
