Taehyung was walking back from the grocery store with a bag of ramen noodles in his hand. Through the years of living alone most of the time- with his mom gone and sister in college- Taehyung had learnt to cook. Sometimes when he's feeling like a chef he cooks finger licking meals but sometimes, when he's tired or too lazy, he prefers ramen. When Taehyung came back home after spending time with his boyfriend he didn't feel like cooking dinner, deciding to eat ramen he went to the kitchen to prepare the noodles, only to realise that he has ran out of ramen noodles. With an irritated sigh he left his house at 10pm to buy instant noodles. He hesitated a bit, but it's not like he could ask his dad to bring him take out.

He walked quietly on the lonely street, not quite enjoying the night breeze as he had imagined he would. There was an unsettling feeling in his stomach. As if someone's been following him. Taehyung turned around twice or thrice to check but there was no one behind. Yet he increased his pace, walking faster while trying to remain calm. Taehyung paused the music streaming into his ears through his earphones, focusing on his hearing. His eyes widened momentarily, he could hear soft tapping, someone was indeed following him. He walked faster, not taking out his earphones as he didn't want to alert whoever was following him.

Taehyung took a turn thinking that it was a shortcut but halfway down the narrow street he realised he took a wrong turn. He then panicked, turning around so suddenly that he actually saw the black figure behind him. Once the stranger noticed that Taehyung had seen him he started running towards Taehyung, who gasped and started running away from the approaching stranger.

Taehyung screamed when he felt a hand grab the back of his hoodie and pull. He struggled against the tight grip trying to elbow the person.

"Get off me!" Taehyung screamed.

"Why would I? You're such a cute doll."

Taehyung gagged at his words throwing his arms and legs in every direction. Fortunately his elbow hit the stranger's stomach and loosened his grip enough for Taehyung to wiggle out of it. He ran again not caring about his ramen that he dropped. The stranger grabbed his shoulder, turning him around with full force. Taehyung stumbled but was quick to kick him and run again. He took another turn to get out of the street but instead crashed into someone falling down on his butt.

"Taehyung?"

The said boy looked at the owner of the voice with wide terrified eyes that soon filled with relief.

"Officer Yoongi.. oh thank god!"

Yoongi crouched down to help Taehyung stand up. The stranger ran towards them stopping abruptly when he saw his prey with another man.

"Dude I saw him first. He's mine. Go find someone else for yourself." The stranger whined walking towards the two to take Taehyung's hand.

"The fuck did you just say?" Yoongi growled in a low voice.

"You deaf or-"

The stranger couldn't complete his sentence because Yoongi had jumped up punching him straight on his nose. Taehyung swore he heard the bone breaking. Yoongi threw punch after punch, kick after kick, yelling profanities at the disgusting human in front of him. Taehyung watched Yoongi hit the stranger until he was laying on the ground, half unconscious, blood all over his face.

"Officer Yoongi stop! Stop! Oh my god you're going to kill him!" Taehyung tried to pull Yoongi away from the stranger but Yoongi wasn't budging.

He kept a firm grip on the stranger's collar continuously punching him, pushing Taehyung away. Yoongi was raging. He absolutely despised men like this stranger. Hawks searching for innocent preys to ravish on at night. People like him who hunt the pure souls in the quiet of the dark, taking what does not belong to them by force. Finding amusement in screams of terror. He hated it. He couldn't stand it. All he wanted to do was kill the man under him and he was going to succeed seeing as the man could barely breathe at this moment.
