Selene Mortimer does not know how old she actually is. Only thing she knows is that she was born and partly raised in Gyeongju-si in South Korea, during the reign of Queen Jindeok of Silla. After her mother died of childbirth, she was immediately whisked away to the world of the supernatural, guided by her father, Azrael. Soon enough, she ended up becoming a hotelier after reaching adulthood; locked up in her hotel and living out her days in torturous monotony. But when a threat from a different realm suddenly comes to earth, she realizes that it was time to step out of the shadows and put her powers to good use.
