SOFIA whipped around in surprise. Her heart beating fast upon feeling that arriving presence. Nilingon niya si Bill, she couldn't tell what's going on in his mind. Pero sigurado siyang hindi coincidence ang pagsasabi nito ng nauubusan na sila ng oras. Ibinalik niya ang tingin kay Zafrix at base sa itsura nito, She could tell that guilt is written all over her face.
"Zafrix."
"What do I need to know," marahan nitong tanong. He's not looking at her with anger, he's not giving her a hard gaze, but once he learned the truth...
"I was really going to tell you about it, but..."
"Whatever it is, we can do something about it," paninigurado nito. Nakaramdam siya ng pag-asa nang dahil doon.
"Sofia? What is going on here?" takang tanong ni Cyan na siyang natagpuan silang tatlo roon. Hinahanap siya nito dahil hindi siya pumasok sa loob kasama si Crystal. She looked surprised upon seeing the three of them standing outside.
"I'll leave you to it," sabi ni Bill kay Sofia bago sila iniwan doon. Mabilis itong naglaho sa paningin nila bago pa man sila makasagot.
Nilakasan niya ang loob at hinarap ang dalawa. Cyan is finally looking worried while Zafrix patiently waited for her to continue. She needs to do this, before it's too late.
"Remember what I told you about me losing my self into the darkness when I was thirteen?" panimula niya, pilit na pinapatatag ang boses.
"Nang malaman mo ang totoo sa pagkatao mo?" tanong ni Zafrix. He looks confused.
"Oo."
"Is this about the darkness that you went through?" paglilinaw ni Cyan. Naging malikot ang mga mata nito nang magsimulang mag-isip ng mga posibilidad. Tumango siya bilang sagot.
"Now that I think about it, how were you able to stop it from consuming you?" tanong ni Zafrix.
Sofia visibly winced when she caught the suspicion in his tone. He slowly walks towards her. His face darkening for a fraction. Sofia pulled her eyes away and did not answer. Paano ba niya sasabihin?
"Sofia, you need to tell us," Cyan pleaded. At base sa ekspresyon nito ay larang may ideya na ito sa kung anong nangyari.
She shook her head. She couldn't find the courage to tell them. She unconsciously touched the upper right of her back just near her shoulder.

She flinched when she hears Zafrix's rough voice from her right side. He is glaring at the spot on her shoulder that she was just unconsciously touching.
"N-Nothing," mabilis niyang tanggi rito.
"Sofia."
Paano ba niya sasabihin ang tungkol doon nang hindi magbabago ang tingin ng mga ito?
"Well... well..."
Nanigas sa kinatatayuan si Sofia at nanlamig ang buong katawan nang maramdaman ang biglaang pagdating ng nakakasuklam na presensya na sobrang pamilyar sa kaniya. She growled. She felt him coming even before he revealed himself. Nilingon niya ang pinagmumulan ng nakakasukang presensya na iyon at nakita ang lalaking matagal na niyang kinamumuhian, ang dahilan ng lahat ng gulo na nangyayari sa kanila ngayon.
