Alina POV
I was on my way home from a double shift at the hospital when I heard screaming, I walk towards the noise see a man with a knife pressed up against a woman,
"Hey! Leave her alone!" I said
"Oh yeah what are you gonna do about it shorty!" He said smirking walking up to me,
"You know I'd like to see what's under those nice nurse clothes," He said with his knife pointing between my cleavage,
I grab his wrist hitting a pressure point making him drop the knife, you see I've been in selfdefense classes since I was able to walk,
"Maybe you should learn how to respect women," I said holding his head in a head lock until he fell unconscious,
The woman is still in the alley shaking, holding her neck, I walk over to her,
Let me see, she hesitates,
"It's okay I'm a nurse," I said
She nodded it was a deep gash, I look around no one was around
"Okay hold still," I said
"What, are you going to do it's too deep," She said
"Just trust me," I said with a blank expression
She nodded
I hovered my hands over the cut they light up green, and her necked healed but, the cut formed on my neck,
"you're you're," She said
"It's alright," I said
"Thank you," She said
I nodded
"Pepper Potts," She said holding out her hand
I shook her hand,
"Alina Cooper," I said
"Nice to meet you," She said
"Get home safe," I said walking the rest of the way home,
Turning the key in my crappy apartment,
Pepper POV
I got home to the tower in a rush to tell Tony what I saw,
"Tony!" I said rushing in where him and all the avengers were
Everyone looked in my direction,
"Pepper what are you doing home so late?" Tony said
"Tony listen to me I was on my way here and I got jumped and-" I said talking fast,
"What!? are you alright?" Tony said rushing to me,
"Yeah but my throat was cut deep, but this woman saved me," I said
"Woman?" Steve asked
"Yeah, she knocked the guy out, and she healed me her hands glowed green," I said
"what?" Wanda said
"Did you get a name?" Bruce asked
"Alina Cooper," I said
Both Bucky and Steve looked down at their wrist in surprise
Bucky POV
When Pepper said Alina Cooper I looked down at my wrist where I have the initials A.C
i looked over at Steve he was also looking down at his wrist,
"Is it her?" he asked
"I don't know?" I said
"Lets see," Tony said bringing up her file on the screen,
"Alina Cooper, Mother died at age five, father died at age of nine, foster home, to foster home, was top of her class, girl seems smart," Tony said
He swipes to the next screen,
"Works at the hospital as a RN, not the line of work I would've chosen with that GPA," Tony said I rolled my eyes,
"Lives alone, oh in not a very good neighborhood," Tony said
"Just turned 21 this month," Tony said
"Maybe we should go thank her," Steve said
A smirk rose on everyone's face,
"Or does it have to do with that her name is the same as the initials you two have?" Natasha said smirking
I smirked also,
Alina POV
I got in my apartment taking off my scrubs hopping in the shower, allowing the hot water to run down my body, I looked at both of my wrists, on my right was J.B the left S.R
I sighed feeling the blood from the cut wash away when The injury that I heal isn't too bad it heals in a few hours, I thought
but when I heal something extreme I'm left weak
I hop out of the shower changing into my black leggings and my old soccer jersey,
I settled down in bed with a cup of hot tea and a book, when I was just about to go to bed, when my phone beeped,
I look down, I'm need back at the hospital,
"Well that was a fun five minutes of rest," I thought
I got out of bed braiding my hair to the side putting on my scrubs grabbing my apartment key, my work badge and walk out,
