it's been a few days since me and James and Steve had that talk about risking my life, right now I'm heading back to Bruce after making a bunch of copies in thick folders,
I rush around the corner only to run right into someone all the papers go all over the place and I fall on my bottom,
I look to see Steve,
"Oh I'm so sorry," I said picking up the papers as quickly as I could,
"It's okay Alina," Steve said as He chuckled helping me gather all the papers,
"Thank you," I said feeling my cheeks turn red,
He smiled at me, helping me to my feet,
"We'll see you tonight, okay," He said kissing my cheek,
I nodded smiling at him,
I watched as he walked down the hall,
Apparently they said they have something special planned for tonight, I've never been surprised before I thought as I walked in the lab where Bruce was,
"There you are I was getting worried," Bruce said
I smiled,
"Did you get everything," He asked
"Yeah," I said handing him the folders,
"Great thank you," He said
I nodded
Later after working with Bruce I decided to go to James's room since that's where I've been staying,
I opened the door to see Both Steve and James in nice clothing,
"What's going on?" I asked walking in,
"Alina get changed we've got a surprise for you," James said smiling,
I nodded walking in the bedroom where I see James had a nice dress laid out for me,
I get dressed in a black dress, with flats, and braid my hair to the side,

I walk out to see them smile at me,
"Come on your going to love this,"James said
I nodded following them to the roof where a table was sitting with candles and rose pedals on top, with champagne glasses, it was beautiful,

"Come Alina," Steve said
We all sat at the table while James poured the champagne,
"Not that I'm not happy about this, but what brought this on?" I asked looking at them both,
"The day we thought we were going to lose you," James said
"You mean when I-" I said but Steve cut me off,
"Yeah, you have no idea how important you are to us," Steve said
"And the soul bond makes it that much stronger," James said
"Really?" I asked tilting my head,
"Yes, We feel the need to be near you, to touch you, to do anything to make you happy," Steve said
"To protect you at all cost, we can even feel if you are in any kind of pain, sadness, it's all part of the bond," James said
"Is that why they both burned the first time I came here?" I asked showing them both of my wrists,

I nodded smiling at them,
"That is why we are concerned," Steve said
"About what?" I asked
"Your power, we are afraid your going to over do it one day and not wake up at all," James said

"Alina we are doing this so you don't end up dead, we won't be able to live without you," James said

I nodded feeling sad because of this, I like to help people and if I can't help what am I good at? I thought
"Come on Doll it's getting late," James said the three of us made our way to James's room where we all fell asleep peacefully but still in the back of my mind is why they didn't want me to use my power at all,
