Avengers Soulmates Steve x Bucky x Reader

Ch. 2 "every day occurrence"

                                                       Bucky POV

Me and Steve and Natasha make our way to her apartment, it takes about forty minutes, 

"This is where she lives?" Steve said surprised 

I don't blame him, the place wasn't nice some pieces of the building falling apart, we make our way inside, 

Natasha was looking at the buzzard names,

"Let's see, Ah Alina Cooper apartment B8" She said 

"Let's go," I said 

we all walked the flight of stairs, 

We arrive at the apartment, and Steve knocks, there was no answer, he knocks a little louder, no answer again, 

"Wait here," I said to them I made my way to the back of the apartment up the fire escape, and find her apartment, 

It was dark, bed wasn't made, she had very little items in the apartment, she's not home at this hour where the hell could she be? I thought I walk back in the building, 

"She's not here," I said 

"Yeah, we just spoke to her neighbors seems she left for work in a hurry," Natasha said 

Me and Steve looked at each other and sighed 

"Come on it's getting late," Natasha said patting us both on the back, 

with that we left, 

                                    Alina POV

A man arrived at the ER with a bullet wound to the stomach, 

"I need a gurney," I said to one of the nurses, she nodded leaving 

"Stacy I need you to find out his blood type and get his type of blood bags, he's loosing too much blood," I said 

"Jason I need to to page DR. Freeman" I said he nodded 

I had my gloved hands against his wound preventing him from bleeding more, 

The nurse arrived with the Gurney, it was four of us, 

"Okay were gonna lift on three," I said 

Everyone nodded 

"One, two, Three," I said with that we all lifted him onto the Gurney

after all the chaos I was finally able to go home, 

I look down my scrubs were covered in blood from the man, 

I was in the locker room grabbing my keys, 

"See you later Cooper," A nurse said as I walked by 

I nodded 

See everyone at work just calls me Cooper because they don't know me that well because I'm shy and keep to myself, 

I like it that way you see I'm so used to being alone I just prefer it that way anymore, I thought 

I walked out of the building and the sun was just starting to come up, 

It will take me about thirty minutes to get home, but the bright side is that I pass my favorite coffee shop on the way home, I think I will do that, I thought as I walked 

I enter the Coffee shop, 

Anna was at the counter she's gotten semi close to me since I stop by quite often, I thought 

"Busy night Alina?" She asked with a smiled 

I nodded, 

"The usual?" She asked 

"Yeah, please," I said 

"Coming right up," She said with a smile

as I was at the counter I got a strange sense that I was being watched, I looked behind me there was a man at the table he had a hawk patch on his shirt, blue eyes and sandy browish hair, 

that symbol where have I seen that before? I thought 

"Here you go!" Anna said 

I handed her the cash,

"Thank you, keep the change," I said taking my Coffee, walking out 

I could see in the corner of my eye the guy was still watching me, 

I leave the Coffee shop walking home, oh man I feel like a walking zombi these past couple of weeks I haven't been able to get a decent nights sleep, my boss has been being unreasonable, 

after my long walk I'm finally at my front door, about to unlock it, 

"Alina dear," Mrs. Robinson said she's a older woman I help her out as much as I can since she can't get around very well,

"Mrs. Robinson good morning," I said 

"Oh dear you look exhausted, and there were some people looking for you," She said 

"It's okay I'm going right to sleep, Really? who?" I said 

"Okay dear," She smiled 

"I don't know I didn't catch their names," She said 

"Okay thank you," I said with a small smile 

I walked in locking the door, I walk to the shower taking my hair out of a braid, putting my clothes in the hamper, and jump into the shower, 

after a long hot shower, I put my old collage sweat pants on that somehow got bigger since I have to tie them tight, and a ACDC tee shirt, 

I brush the knots out of my hair brush my teeth, I walked into my tiny kitchen opening the fridge, all I have is milk, orange juice, and eggs I work to pretty much live which just sucks but at least I'm not on the streets, I thought 

Sigh, 

I make some eggs and pour some Orange Juice, 

                                     Steve POV

"So how do we meet?" I said as everyone was in the room, 

"We can't just arrive at her door hey we have you're initials on our wrist nice to meet you," I said 

"Yeah, can't exactly put that on a welcome card," Tony said 

I glared at him, 

Clint walks in, 

"Where have you been?" Natasha asked 

"Tailing that pretty thing you two keep talking about," Clint said 

"Where was she?" I asked 

"Work, from what I can tell she had a rough night," He said 

I sighed, Bucky put his hand on my shoulder, 

"Okay so as I was saying-" I started saying 

"I got it!" Tony said 

"What?" Bucky asked 

"I throw a party," Tony said 

"And how would that help us?" I asked 

"Just listen, I throw a benefit party helping medical workers, she's got to come to that right?" Tony said 

"I've got to admit that might work," Natasha said 

"Hold up, from what I saw in her apartment, she doesn't have much," Bucky said 

"Then be romantic and send her a dress," Tony said 

"Okay I'm gonna make some calls," Tony said leaving the room

"I hope this works," I said 

Bucky nodded
