I see a bunch of people around my age in the water laughing and having fun.
It is two guys and a girl. I realize that I am just staring at them and quickly look away. But not before I see one of the guys point at me. I pretend like I am texting on my phone so I don't look weird.
20 minutes later I am bored so I get up and start to walk back.
"Hey you!"
I turn around and the girl that was in the water is calling me
"Yeah" I say.
"You seem lonely sitting their and my brother and his friend are annoying the sh*t out of me. "Wanna hang out?
"Umm yeah sure" I say.
"My name Riley." she says holding out her hand
"My name is Lena
"So lets play the game where we ask 10 questions about each other.
"Ok
After a while of us asking questions she asks
"So do you wanna go shopping?"
"Yes I would love too!" I say
"Good cuz I am going to give you a makover" she says
"Whatttt do I look that bad?" I ask
"Umm girl have you looked in the mirror lately."
We both burst out laughing as we head to the mall.
The mall is in walking distance and I didn't mind walking.
Riley is the same age as me and has one sibling Blake the guy I saw at the beach. She loves food, shopping, and the beach. We are going to the same school and said everyone there is pretty chill

We are at the mall for like 2 hours now and holding bags and bags of clothes. We went to rue 21, Buckle, Victoria Secret, H&M, and a lot more.
Finally we go to the food court and get some chick-fil-a. We sit, eat, and people watch commenting on everyone's clothes.
Once we are done she takes me to the salon. They didnt tell me what there doing, they said it was a suprise.

Another 2 hours later the salon ladys says I can look now. I go to the mirror and I am shocked. I look like a totally different person. They died my hair blonde, gave me a makeover, and manicure.
I kept staring at myself in the mirror.
"You look a 100 times better in blonde" Riley says
I give her the biggest hug
"Thank you Riley!" You dont know how much this means to me." I say to her.
"Oh shut----up thats what friends are for and I love shopping."
Riley buys tons of make-up and
the lady teaches me how to apply it on.
After we are done we walk out of the mall.
"I dont feel like walking back. "I am going to call my brother to come pick us up."
After 5 minutes of her on the phone bribing him to pick us up, she hangs up.
"Huh, only my brother". She says annoyed.
"Is he coming?"
"Yeah, he better get his *ss over here!"
I laugh at her reaction and she starts laughing too.
"I am such a nice sister" she says laughing harder.
When Blakes gets here we hop in his car.
"You didn't tell me you have a hott chick with you" he says winking at me.
I blush and quickly look away.
"Shut up and just take us to her house" Riley says to him.
I give them the directions.
Once we pull in to my driveway I hop out and say bye to them.
I gave Riley my phone number and walk up to the front porch with the bags of clothing in my hand.
"See you Monday!" Riley yells out waving.
I wave back and walk inside smiling.

"Where the hell have been!" Mom yells at me
