win walks inside the office feeling drained. the iced coffee he's been holding since seint and him part their ways is warm now. he hates seint, and the word is an understatement of what he's currently feeling. he wants to punch the wall and shout, but looking at the people inside the office makes him think otherwise.

pete nudges his waist and he gets back to reality. he forces a tired smile at his senior which pete fails to notice.

"was seint a good with advice?" no, he wants to answer. but considering how his senior only calls seint by his name means they're close -- or at least they're well-acquainted with each other.

"yes, sir. he's good with words." so good he's got me wrapped in his hands and i hate it so much, win's thinking at the back of his head.

"i knew he'd do good. he's a topnotcher in the licensure exam anyway." win thinks pete trusts him that much, and it kind of makes him sad. how much could seint play with people's head, he doesn't know. what he also doesn't know is how he'd tell this to bright who's probably have a lot going on in his head.

"did you thank him, nong win?" pete asks him, and he just nods. but the words that came out of seint's mouth before he left the cafe reverberate in his head.

win is all cuddled in bright's arms when they hear knocks on the door. it isn't locked, but it's closed so win get out of bright's grasp to open it. he almost laughs when he sees his mother peeking over the gape of the door, holding two glasses of milk in her hands.

"i figured both of you are stressed out. drinking milk before bedtime would help," and win's mother smiles. both of their hearts melt.

"thank you, auntie. you're the best."

win's mother chuckle at bright and tells them to sleep early because they've still got their internship tomorrow before she closes the door.

"i was about to tell auntie that i've been giving you enough milk but i remembered it'd be too dirty for her."

"shut it, babe." win places the glasses of milk on the bedside table and pulls bright to sit.

"i'm so happy we've both come out to our parents. it feels free. like we're not trying to escape their eyes anymore."

free, huh. win sighs, still thinking of seint's words. he bites his lower lip, remembering he hasn't told bright about it.

"i know." the only words that slip out of win's mouth. those two words are enough for bright to feel that something's wrong. he pulls win to sit on his lap and snakes his hands around his waist.

"what's the matter babe?" bright asks as he peppers kisses on win's nape. though win badly wants to get his hands on bright and have him play with his body, the worries in his head overpower the lust that's sparking inside him.

"seint talked to me earlier."

bright stops kissing him as win feels him stiffen. but his hug tightens around him and he rests his chin on top of win's shoulder.

"what did he tell you?"

"he saw us kiss. at the rooftop."

win hears bright groan, and his hold on him tightens it hurts.

"you're hurting me," win says as he whimpers. bright loosens his hold and says his sorry before rubbing his forehead, sighing.

"what else did he say?"

"he asked me what would our seniors say if they know what's going on between us."

"that fucker!" bright gets out of the bed and bunches his hair in frustration as he walks back and forth win's room.

"i knew it. i knew he'd do something shitty. that's the seint i know," bright mutters under his breath before kneeling in front of win and caressing his thighs. "did he hurt you? did he do anything else?"

"nothing. but i'm scared, bright. it was a threat. he was threatening us. i don't know what to do." all the pent up frustrations get out of win's system through cries, and seeing him cry breaks bright's heart into pieces especially knowing how cunning seint is.

"hush, baby. it's going to be okay. i won't let him do anything that'd hurt you. hush now, please. i love you. i love you so much," bright whispers on win's ears.

win embraces bright tight, and even if he wants the tears to stop it just keeps on flowing.

"i don't even know why he's after us. i don't even know what he wants."

bright continues to hush him, cursing seint at the back of his head.
