Dear Diary,
We arrived in Narnia yesterday! Today, we were helping the Pevensies decorate and prepare the great hall in Cair Paravel, their castle. Queen Lucy is very nice, and we both like a lot of the same things. We spent forever yesterday talking about all the adventures we've had. The High King Peter and Queen Susan seem nice as well, but they are always busy talking to my parents.
King Edmund, who is older than Lucy, fascinates me. He is a bit of a conundrum, as I am always wondering what he is thinking about. He stares off into space a lot, and doesn't talk much in general. I did catch him on the balcony today, and he told me about how the White Witch deceived him, and how he doesn't really like winter. I tried to convince him of winter's enormous beauty, and how it was Aslan who made winter, and not the White Witch. His attitude seemed to change afterward; he wasn't as stern as he had been. What we do have in common is the dislike of too many people around, though I suspect he might dislike it a bit more than even me. We are also going to have a huge bonfire tonight, though! I am very excited!
