22. " Daughter?"

I took a deep breath as I heard Mikey ask confused

"Daughter?"

I turned to him to see him staring right in my face

"Yea, during senior year in high school I got pregnant around April by Shawn. That's why I didn't come around y'all house for those weeks and just said it was cause of graduation preparations then left town for summer break "

I stiffened as I bit my bottom lips and pulled out a custom onesie with her name on it. Tears was streaming down as I traced her name remembering the event.

I needed to let this out

" Remember that car accident I got into Chelle told you about?"

"Yea she didn't go into detail, just that you got in one, but said you was doing alright. She left that summer saying she was going to take care of you while you recovered... "

" yea I asked her not to tell anyone. My parents, Shawn and his parents were the only ones that knew at the time that I was pregnant and I just wanted it that way."

At this point I was shaking, gripping the onesie in my hands. I jumped a little when Mikey suddenly wiped a tear away.

I looked at him continuing

" I lost her Mikey. I lost her before I even got her and I'll never forgive myself for it. That day we went to a doctors appointment , and we found out the gender and everything. We were ecstatic like everything was perfect. So I thought

That night I wanted to stay in with Shawn and watch movies and think of baby names. I already decided on Karin but I wanted his input. He is the father so you know lets share that moment together

I was blowing up his phone trying to figure out where he went for a good hour Mikey.  I finally went on Instagram scrolling and guess what I saw Mikey.. guess! Keshia from our senior class, the one that was pregnant she posted a picture of Shawn holding the baby captioning it " welcome to the world jr! Me and daddy love you💉💙!" I basically choked out

I took another deep breath continuing

" I literally sat there packing my shit up I didn't want to be there another second. That place was a gift from my parents Mikey they literally bought me an apartment a town over just— I packed my stuff and left. I got in my car and cried as I was driving back to my parents place. I was at a red light when Shawn texted me talking bout some " It's just a prank baby please hear me out!".

He was blowing up my phone nonstop. Once I seen the light turn green I was starting to go then I saw a fast bright light coming towards me then darkness surrounded me... I woke up in the hospital with my mother sitting beside me "

*flashback*
I woke up with bright lights in my face. My eyes fluttered open as I looked confused around the room I turned to see my mother sleeping on the little couch in the corner
