three

it had been three days since that happened, and i couldn't forget the embarrassment on my face as i bowed my thanks and sprinted outside sir bright's office as if my life depended on it. i didn't even manage to look at sir bright one last time and just ran away.

so right now, i was finding my way back to his class hoping AJ wouldn't start his talkative mouth so i wouldn't be asked to drop. but as i was thinking about it, maybe dropping his class would be better since i wouldn't have to face him again. though i may really have gotten myself smitten by him that when he started writing on the board, all what i was thinking flew away.

"i'll be asking you to pass me a paper with the topic of key ideas in economics and how important it is in our society."

i was trying to focus on the board instead of looking at sir bright's face, and i thought i was starting to get used to it when all of a sudden i heard my name being called in front.

"for the submission, i'll have you pass all your of papers to mr. metawin at the third row," sir bright says as he points at me and all my classmates looked at my direction for a few seconds before nodding.

"i want it done tomorrow, alright?" and all of them replied yes with a nod while i sat there dumbfounded.

"what was sir bright thinking?" i asked myself, but AJ who's beside me texting someone i didn't really care about just shrugs as if i was talking to him.

"why are you even following me?" i stopped at my track and looked at AJ who also stopped walking but didn't even bother to look at me. i pinched his shoulders and there's that.

"hey, shy bloom. so you were saying?"

"why are you following me?"

AJ shrugs again, "dunno? maybe because you're going to the cafeteria and i also want to eat?" sarcastic asshole. i almost uttered a grunt.

"fine," and i started walking again.

we were on our way to the cafeteria when i had my eyes squinting at the corner. was that sir bright? and what was pluem doing? i left AJ who didn't even noticed that i left and just walked silently about two feet away from where they were and hiding behind a wall. this certain place near the cafeteria had almost no one around because all of the student go to the opposite direction where there's easier access to the cafeteria so it was just the three of us here.

i would peek from time to time but since i couldn't really hear their voice i satiated myself with just seeing what they were doing. but then, i should have been careful of what i wished for because i just pluem throwing himself at sir bright and the latter pushing him away, disgust evident on his face.

what. did i. just see?

when sir bright started walking away from pluem, i hid behind the wall only to see sir bright walk past me then he stopped, probably feeling someone's presence. my eyes flickered and my heart started beating so fast when he took my wrist and pulled me to wherever we were going. as if he knew where students would barely go, i found ourselves inside a room with cobwebs on every corner and a creaking door being closed behind me.

"uhm, sir? what are we doing here?"

he didn't answer. instead, he held the base of his tie and started loosening it. i couldn't remember how many times i gulped just seeing him do that while staring at my eyes the whole time. i was about to go toward the door and run for my life again when he pushed me down a stack of monoblock chairs and tilted my head to the back before plunging himself down my lips, pulling my soul off the earth.
