devailed brides
away from father's prying eyes

in eggshell white
with hands that just might
but one wishes she were gonefour young ladies sat around
and said love is forever
and never and never
but one has her veil too longone young maiden lounged about
and will never wait till dawn
not with her lights still on
and no ladies to look upon
