The nations had finally begun to trickle out of their rooms. Libya, Chile, and New Zealand had gotten up first and decided to start making breakfast for everyone. They were soon joined by the Korea twins and Turkey.

Eventually, the rest of the nations made it to the kitchen. Their breakfast was uneventful. Though to several nations, with everything happening, that would be a good thing. Sleep was already eventful enough as it was. This is the closest they could get to uneventful besides being unconscious.

After their uneventful breakfast, they decide that Norway will read the next entries. Everyone heads into the journal room as Norway opens up the journal.

"This is about America."

Dear Diary
April 9th, 1835
Michigan and Ohio are fighting over the Toledo strip and have sent militias to their borders to be ready to fight over the strip. Guys, please.

April 26th, 1835
Mitch and Braxton got into a "sort of" battle. No one was injured, but I hope my government steps in before things do get bloody.

July of 1835
I said I hoped the federal government stepped in before things got bloody, yeah, too late. Joseph Wood went to Toledo to arrest an Ohioan partisan named Two Stickney. A scuffle broke out in the tavern Stickney was in and Wood was stabbed in the side by Stickney who had pulled a penknife.

September 7th, 1835
Governor Mason of Michigan gathered 1,200 wolverine militiamen to confront the Ohio militia. However, the Ohioans found out about the planned confrontation and fled to avoid any bloodshed. I guess this is gonna be called the court incident.

Still 1835
Jackson got sick and tired of this "war" and finally got involved! (Clearly he can actually deal with conflicts correctly for once) He kicked out Mason, although he got re-elected, but both militias have been called off. So, that averts the risk of civil war.

December 14, 1836
After a lot of remaining tension, Michigan finally ceded the Toledo Strip to Ohio. Of course, after a compromise that is. But Ohio got Toledo, and Michigan gained a second peninsula.

-Update-
The UP has its own personification! It's a cute, little blonde girl! She doesn't have a name, so I guess I'll call her Michelle.
(Also, Jiibegamig and Mooz are quite excited about another younger sibling. Jiibegamig's made a point of showing her around her island)

Norway raises an eyebrow in confusion, "Jiibegamig and Mooz?"

"Ah!" America exclaims, to the amusement of a few, "Right. Mooz is Isle Royale... that's a little state park up in Lake Superior. Jiibegamig is Mackinac." Veneziano seems to flinch at the mention of Mackinac. Unfortunately for him, it doesn't go unnoticed.

"You good, fratello?" Romano asks as Centro raises an eyebrow.

"Fine! Fine. Just fine. I'm doing great. Just peachy..." Veneziano trails off. America and South Ojibwe do their best to stifle a laugh. They knew exactly what was going on, and it was funny.

"Bloody hell, did we just read through an entire war?" England questions, finally seeming to realize what the entry was about.

"I mean... not ze..." he blinks at his mistake, "...the entire war. Just the important parts of it... Though, to be fair, it was most of it since it only lasted like... around a year." A few nations also snicker as he corrects himself.

"Speaking of war," China interjects, "Wouldn't this have taken place only a short time before your civil war broke out?"

America clicks his tongue and nods, "By about thirty years, yeah."
