"Mum, when is he coming home?"

"Your brother is still busy training in Seoul."

"Won't he visit even just for a bit?"

"Well, he did say he'll try asking the company for permission."

I sighed as my school finally came into view. "Bye-bye, drive safely!"

I went out of the car and headed straight to our classroom. I just sat still, watching my classmates talk and laugh with each other. It's a little sad how 8th grade summer break was already around the corner but I haven't managed to make friends yet. I wasn't really a loner, but since my brother transferred to an art school in Seoul I didn't have anyone left. I tried making friends but everyone already had their own groups.

"Class is dismissed."

Instead of heading to the cafeteria, I went to the school garden every lunchtime. I always brought a homemade sandwich so I didn't have to line up for food. I didn't know how to cook yet so it did get a little boring eating the same thing everyday, but it's just for me so I didn't really mind... and I didn't really have someone to eat with.

It's okay, though! It's me and my KDramas under the shade of a random tree against the world-aka my mother. She kept nagging me to stop using technology because my obsession for cheesy romances soared high at the same time with my eye grade. Oh well, it's just one of the sacrifices I had to make for love.

After eating, I fixed my things. I got startled when the bell rang signalling the resume of classes. My schoolmates were all running to get to the rooms and it made me a little dizzy.

"Are you blind?" Someone hissed after bumping with me.

"I'm sorry, I kinda am." I nervously apologised while trying to look for my eyeglasses that slipped off. I should've listened to my mum!

The person cleared his throat and I saw him pick something through my hazy vision. "Here," he said.

"Oh, thank you so-" I stopped what I was saying when I finally saw who he was.

He immediately walked away before I could fully thank him and I watched his retreating figure in confusion. They talked like he was the baddest student to walk the hallways of our school but I didn't expect him to look this... innocent.

Isn't that Lee Minho, the school's bully?

I frowned as I watched Bambam whining because of a scratch on his cheek. Here he was again. We're not even classmates but he's always roaming around our room.

"Lisa, what's up with him this time?" I asked my seatmate who just sat down after managing to stop the boy with his tantrums.

She seemed to fangirl for a moment before answering. "Lee Minho happened."
