Amy woke up in an unfamiliar room. She jumped out of her bed and looked out of the window. Wait. Where was the sky? All she saw was an ocean.

Then she heard a knock on her door.

"Come in." She said sitting back down on her bed.

It was Sophie.

She sorta remembered now. The last time she had saw her, she got grounded for a month for wandering off and hugged her and told her she loved her. She didn't get it then but she did now.

"Where am I?" She asked.

" Atlantis. " Sophie replied.

My eyes widened. "You mean Atlantis is real?"

" Yes. "

"Wait, so then elves are real too?" I asked.

" Yes. But we don't work at Santa Claus 's workshop or anything. " Sophie responded.

"Wait, are you're ears pointy?" I asked pointing at her ears.

"Not until I'm an Ancient. Then I'll have pointed ears." Sophie explained.

" Ancient? " I questioned.

"We live forever unless we somehow die in an accident. "

My jaw dropped.

Sophie laughed.

"What's going to happen to my parents?" I asked quietly.

" I don't know. " Sophie said placing her hand on mine. "We're trying."

I sighed.

When would I see them again?

"So." I said trying to brighten the mood. "Tell me about how you got here. "

"It's a long story." Sophie warned.

"I don't care." I insisted. "I wanna know.

" Ok. "

Her story was definitely long.

After she was almost finished, I asked, "So are dating the teal eyed dude? "

Sophie nearly choked on the mallowment she eating.

"Fitz? No we're just friends." She insisted.

"Are you sure?" I pressed. " you get all dreamy eyed when you talk about him. "

I batted my eyelashes.

"I do not!"

"You're doing it right now."

Her bodyguard Sander laughed from the door.

Sophie glared at him.

Soon she finished her story.

"Wow." I said. " Do you like them better? Like you're adopted parents? "

Sophie squirmed.

"I don't like either of them better. They both love me. Even if my human parents don't remember me. " She looked down.

I didn't want Sophie to be sad but. . . She did kinda leave us even if she is an elf. An elf. Wow.

"Well I have to go. It getting pretty late." Sophie said.

" Will you help find my parents? " I asked.

"Right as I get home." She promised.

" No you're getting sleep first. " said Sander from the door.

Sophie rolled her eyes. "Whatever."

Sophie got up of the bed and went to the door.

"Promise?" I whispered .

"Promise."
