Wanderlust

Once I went through
The path unknown
Of the deep valley
In the forest of Oak

All the people warned
Not to wander through the woods
But my will and my curiosity
Made them shut up as they should

The woods aren't as dark as they told,
Rather they are lit like gold
Nor are there any swamps around
But there are gardens which trees surround
The mountains had peaks of ice
Making the scene blue and nice

Now I must realise
What people tell can be lies
Unless I search the path on my own
On and on , I must go.
