"You keep running away from me so why not give you what you want" Her mother argued

"This is not what I want though, you're my mother you're meant to know what I want considering how many times I've told you" Anissa continues to shove the little amount of clothes she had along with her essentials into a carry on "I said I wanted you to get off the drugs. I said I wanted you to stop pimping me out and I wanted to get some books to help revise for my a-levels but no, you hear but don't listen"

Audrey glares at her daughter "I'm your mother you don't speak to me like that"

Anissa scoffs budging past her mother and running down the creaking stairs of her house. Audrey had decided to send Anissa away because quite frankly she just didn't want the girl around. She was just another mouth to feed, another interruption.

"Don't sit here and play the 'I'm your mother card' that card was taken from you years ago when you thought it was okay for your boyfriend to want me to satisfy him" She turns to grab her raincoat off of the hook "That's when I lost respect for you Audrey"

Anissa was pissed off because why in the world did she have to be left with this pathetic excuse of a human. "Give me my damn ticket and let me go"

But instead Audrey grabs a fistful of the young girls hair yanking in back causing her to yelp and fall "Don't disrespect me" she screams about to throw a fist towards Anissa's face but for the first time Anissa catches it just in time flipping the woman over and sending one right to her face causing Audrey to clutch her aching nose in pain.

Anissa reaches into her raincoat knowing her mother was the last to use it, so there was most likely cash that she could exchange.
She feels the money and leaves it in its place but comes across a small bag of an ivory powder. So she takes it out. Her hand grabs the suitcase and she makes her way towards the door and turns around flinging the bag of cocaine in her mothers direction "Go fetch you bitch"

just wanted to make this very clear anissa's mother's bf never assaulted anissa but he did express to her that he wanted her in inappropriate ways (she is also obviously a minor too). when telling her mother this and expressing that she was uncomfortable with it her mother (being the sick woman she is) said it was okay and that she was complaining for nothing. i just wanted to make that clear to you all if something of that nature were to happen i would definitely put a trigger warning but it's very likely that it would never show up in any of my books bc it's not something i personally feel comfortable writing about
