On that note, I want to share with you the new, so-called "semi-colon" movement. Project Semicolon was born from a social media movement in 2013. They have stated that they are "presenting hope and love to those who are struggling with depression, suicide, addiction, and self-injury".
They are attempting to make a stand and fight for those that need courage and love the most.
The reason behind choosing a semi-colon is quite straight forward:
A semicolon is used when an author could've chosen to end their sentence, but chose not to. The author is you and the sentence is your life.
World Semicolon day is being celebrated each year on the 16th of April.
