I hope you could accept my past
And the flaws that I have made when I didn't found you yet.
I didn't know what love is
But you showed me that love is a wonderful feeling
That you can give to your soulmate.
I never thought someone will pick up my roses
To let them grow again.
Since the day I found you everything became different.
It wasn't a blank page anymore
It was filled with words that bloom
To my heart and soul.
Not only you touch my soul I trusted you as a whole.
This may sounds like a vows in weddings
But as the day we get old I'll be forever by your side
Until your last breath.
I started reading ellewrites_'s a while back and I have got to say that I was surprised by the profound messages that they manages to capture.
It's truly beautiful and I fear that any description I would give this poem, would not be enough.
"I never thought someone will pick up my roses
To let them grow again."
I cried at these lines. They're so pristine and so fitting to my past life experiences.
I want to thank you; for beautifying my day and my perception on the power of poetry.
