I shake my head to clear my mind. "My Diamond, maybe we should reform soon, so the gems don't get worried." I slap my hand over my mouth, but he doesn't seem to notice the name.
"R-right!" Happy. A dress appears on my body, a bright pink. It is plain. A ribbon appears on my waste, with a star instead of a knot in the back and more ribbon flowing down. I smooth out the tips of my boots and make my pigtails go down to my back. He puts on his normal outfit. A black star shirt, pink varsity jacket, blue jeans, and a pair of pink flip-flops. He looks at me and gasps. I made the dress show my curves, which he is obsessed at looking at. He realizes and looks away. I grab his hand.
"It's alright. Ready?" I ask him.
"Ready."
"Form." We both hear humming. In five seconds flat, we are in the living room, our simplified forms glowing white and our details and clothes form. They all crowd around me and Steven. When they finally disperse, Amethyst gives us her smug face.
"Are you two a couple yet? Look at their hands!" I feel heat rush to my face again as I realize I'm holding his hand. I feel a hand on my shoulder.
"Don't deny it." Garnet reminds me in a whisper.
"I don't know if we're that far yet, but, if my Diamond allowed, maybe we could be more than just best friends?"
"Does this answer your question?" His lips touch my cheek and swiftly goes out the door. Next thing I know, I'm on the floor, clutching my cheek. He's never done that before. Is that what a kiss is? It must have been. Wow. He kissed me. Me. I bolt up, but when I struggle to stand, Garnet helps me up. I'm a little wobbly when she lets go, but I don't fall back down.
"Did you just call Steven 'My Diamond'?" Pearl asks with the same smug expression as Amethyst. I blush madly.
"S-so what if I did? You all know I like him. He's mine. He's my Diamond." I say, trying to be serious, but one look at the looks on everyone's faces has me burst out in laughter.
"S.P, did that just happen? Did he really just he kiss you?" Amethyst asks.
"I'm asking myself the same question Amy." I reply honestly. Then, I quickly follow Steven's footsteps onto the beach.
