Lincoln watched as Cookie slept, a protective hand on her stomach and a frown painted across her lips. Spits was lying down beside him with his head sleeping on his side, Lincoln pets his beloved dog gently and gets up, stretching himself a little bit.
Taking a deep breath, the white-haired teen stood up and walked over to the window and looked down at the street below.
"This is...something new. At least the neighbors stopped arguing and Cookie has a doctor appointment tomorrow, no one has found us yet and from the looks of things, the baby is growing fine." Lincoln said.
Spitz barked in agreement at his owner's comment.
Taking a deep breath, Lincoln looked back and saw Cookie begin to stir and he walked over to her. Lying down beside her, Cookie moaned and opened her eyes, "Lincoln?"
"I'm here, Cookie," Lincoln wrapped an arm around her and Cookie scooted closer to him.
"Are you okay?" Cookie moaned as she tiredly nodded and closed her eyes.
Lincoln kissed her forehead and sighed. "That's good...goodnight, Cookie."
Lincoln closed his eyes and fell asleep with Cookie in his arms.
