(Y/N)'s POV:

I was shocked. What is he doing here?! The one I thought was my friend and wanted to kill me!

I stopped in my trail of thoughts when I saw that, he was looking down, fidgeting with something in his hands. He didn't have that creepy smile he always had. He had a frown and his eyes were focused on the object he was holding. He shifted in his spot and hasitantly handed me the object that was a lollipop in hand. "I know you are mad at me.... But I'm.... S-....... "- he was struggling to say a word- " I'm......S-........ S-sorry..." He murmured as he still held the lollipop for me to take.

My face felt a bit warm and then felt a bit embarrassed when I realised I was blushing. Jack didn't seem to notice as he gazed to the ground and his head turned away a bit. I don't know why but it saddens me when I see him like this. He was the only friend I had... I realised I was still staring at him and he spoke," I'll understand if you don't forgi--"

He was cut off by his sentence as I wrapped my arms around him and hugged him tight. I felt him tensed up and stood still for a moment. Then I felt his hands, gently brushing across my back and soon felt his arms wrapped around me. He then seemed to calm down a bit and held me tight. For a few minutes we stood like this, but I had a strange feeling I didn't have before. I don't feel scared anymore. I'm not mad anymore.... I felt.... Safe....

We finally let go and I took the lollipop from his hand. "So.... You wanna go have fun in the carnival?" He asked. There was a pause of silence as I thought whether or not to go. It would an anyway be a waste of money not to.

"Don't people get scared of you there?" I asked. I mean. People will be frightened of a scary clown walking around in the carnival. "Hehe don't worry about it hehe. They think I work in the Funhouse as a scary actor! hehe. I'll just say I'm on break." He replied, giggling. I guess it is kinda funny. I giggled aswell, imagining the situation when people saw Jack and thought he works here. "Hehe. Sure." I answered his question. With that, he held my hand and we walked out of the abandoned area and to the crowded carnival.

We've been on rides and had some sweet snacks.

We rode the roller coaster and laughed at each other's reaction after every loop. We've been on bumper cars and Jack seemed to bump into me the most. We've gone through the Funhouse and I held onto his arm through every jump scare. He didn't seem to be bothered by this but I felt
embarrassed. We played games at the game huts and won some prises.... Well... Jack won me prises because he hit every target like a pro and won me a big, stuffed Bunny. We had cotton candy and was walking around the carnival as we talked about funny moments.

" And when I was about to eat the pie Jeff gave me, it exploded and my face was covered in cream." Jack explained as I laughed. "And then Jason came and asked where his red mouse was. That would explain the explosion. But it was a bit amusing... Almost made me laugh." He continued as I giggled and eventually managed to say,
" Hehe I've never pranked anyone before. But that was funny."

As we walked I saw a fairest wheel and saw that the line wasn't long to the ride. I grabbed Jack's hand while I had cotton candy and a stuffed Bunny in the other hand. I lead him to the ride as he managed a wry laugh. Not long after we waited in the que, we were on the fairest wheel and the ride started. The wheel slowly turned as it gave us some time to enjoy the scenery. The sun was setting as the lights of the carnival lit up. It was quiet and peaceful. I took a glance at Jack and I could see him smiling. But that wasn't a normal smile. He then started to giggle a bit. "What's so funny?" I asked as he looked at me with a mischievous grin.
