CHRISTINA YUKIMIRA never asked to move to Wisconsin. She wanted to stay at her home in Japan and live her life there, but she didn't have a choice once her mother married an American man and they have to now depend on a Visa as they lived in a small town called Point Place. Her mother was convinced that they would love the American life, but when Christina sees that she lives across the street from a war veteran and his son- Eric that always hangs out his same loud 5 hippie friends, she doesn't think so. Though when one of them invites her to Eric's basement, she really doesn't know what she signed up for, especially when the boys make a bet about her.

In my opinion, I feel like that 70s show is somewhat stereotypical and racist and it's clear because of how they treated Fez and how Red treats him and talks about people from China throughout the seasons (Also that episode when they meet Steven's real father and they kept trying to make jokes because his father was African American, which really turned me off from the show for a bit). My protagonist in this story is Japanese, meaning that there will be slight stereotypical jokes, but probably not because I hated that 70s show for that reason. I'm not a big fan of these kind of jokes so there probably won't even be any, I just wanted to make it clear. My plan for this book is to be funny, not prejudice and so I'm hoping you guys understand
